We are currently looking for a Project Manager experienced in marketing localization to help Cisco Meraki achieve our full potential in international markets! As a Localization Project Manager, you will support marketing localization projects including visual assets, enablement collateral, advertising assets, web pages, and creative content. You will be responsible for managing operations with external agencies and vendors, and the localization workflow from request creation to job completion. The ideal candidate will provide solutions, manage change, be an expert of jugglers, and keeper of process for the team and focus on our Localization efforts. With a passion for process, you must drive alignment across Marketing teams to support our global marketing efforts, develop efficient ways for the team to manage projects, and bring these programs effectively across the finish line. The role will report to our Head of Marketing PMO and will be a great fit for someone who is comfortable working cross-functionally and driving projects autonomously.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage end-to-end localization workflows of visual assets and other collateral using our translation management tools and systems
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on marketing launches to ensure all elements are delivered in time for global and regional launches.
  • Set timelines and maintain relationships with vendors, freelancers, and cross-functional partners.
  • Educate and guide agencies and designers on internationalization and localization best practices.
  • Track the progress of projects in our Project Management tool Asana for visibility and manage any review cycles needed to validate the content.
  • Lead localization projects and requirements across external vendors.
  • Work across Marketing teams with various stakeholders to prioritize and coordinate development efforts and review cycles to deliver on schedule.
  • Work cross-functionally with Cisco Meraki stakeholders to identify critical business blockers and collaborate on how to optimize and solve for
  • Contribute to project kickoffs & meetings with cross-functional groups for planning
  • Identify and manage project risk through prioritization efforts
  • Drive high-quality output from localization vendors & freelancers
  • Manage & train different vendors, translators, and reviewers
  • Evangelize Globalization to stakeholders

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years of experience in localization, or equivalent project management or program management experience
  • BA/BS or 2+ years equivalent work experience in localization, internationalization, project management, or program management
  • Experience communicating across a variety of cross-functional stakeholders, working across time zones and international offices
  • You are results oriented and can apply rigor to the application of those results in future work
  • Will operate as a central role for our Global locales, to deliver clear in-market localization strategies and opportunities
  • This role will partner deeply with the Marketing team and Localization partners for overall Localization flight plan management
  • Innovative and creative problem-solver with strong communication skills across internal stakeholders
  • A proactive, efficient, and resourceful approach and ability to thrive in a creative, flexible, and ambiguous environment. Must be able to think on the fly and pivot when necessary and drive projects forward
  • Ability to translate complex topics into simple and clear explanations
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills with attention to detail
