Job Description

HubSpot is a fast-growing company with an award-winning culture. Our design team is growing and we are looking for an ambitious designer to join our creative community.

HubSpot’s Marketing Design Team covers a broad spectrum of practice areas including discovery and analysis, user research, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design. Our team values a dual understanding of both our customer and their relationship to our brand, making it important to be equally skilled in both UX and visual design. We are passionate about details and how to shape them into a frictionless customer experience.

About the Role

As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for solving different challenges considering the holistic user experience related to a specific program that supports our marketing priorities.

You will work closely with our marketers, strategists, and project managers to understand long and short-term goals and build cross-team relationships in Marketing.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Identify and prioritize user goals to break down business tasks into deliverables, provide clear estimations and manage these over the full project lifecycle
  • Solve problems and translate solutions into clear and delightful experiences that are frictionless, accessible, and global first
  • Collaborate in research and design thinking methods, including generative research and participatory design
  • Design larger multi-step flows considering the overall user experience and nuances
  • Define and create journeys, wireframes, storyboards, mockups, and interactive prototypes through collaboration with developers
  • Become a contributor to the Design system identifying, documenting the appropriate components and interactions with general knowledge of usability
  • Proactively align and collaborate with other creative disciplines (video, web development, conversion optimization teams) to build successful experiments
  • Consistently brings new ideas, examples, technology, and approaches to projects and programs

We are looking for people who:

  • Are passionate about helping our customers grow better
  • Can work thoughtfully with designers and non-designers alike
  • Curious to learn and take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment
  • Find value and growth opportunities in receiving and providing both affirming and constructive feedback
  • Are comfortable articulating design decisions and asking tough questions to help surface and challenge assumptions
  • Have an eye for visual composition and are interested in taking our brand to the next level

We know the confidence gap* and imposter syndrome can get in the way of meeting spectacular candidates, so please don’t hesitate to apply — we’d love to hear from you.*
