Job Description

State of Digital Publishing (SODP) is looking for a full-time remote SEO Analyst with 4+ years experience. Reporting to the Technical Lead and Head of SEO, you will use your skills in executing core SEO tactics like Technical Audits, Internal Linking, Performance Analysis, Topic Research, Competitor Research, Content Optimization for our publication and our clients, in achieving our growth goals by setting and executing ground-breaking SEO strategies.

SODP is a start-up market research publisher that is focused on building a community for digital media publishing professionals as well as content and media owners.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be the superstar responsible to execute SEO strategies end-to-end
  • First POC to co-ordinate or implement core SEO activities like Technical Audits, Internal Linking, Performance Analysis, Keyword Research, Competitor
  • Research, Content Optimization etc.
  • Monitoring and reporting on search trends and SEO performance
  • Creation and maintenance of a library of SEO Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Make intuitive and data-driven decisions to leverage tech and content in order to achieve client goals
  • Perform and deliver under tight deadlines
  • Learn and adapt to SODP’s process and methodologies and help improve them in the longer term

EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITIES

  • Deep understanding of organic search and search engine marketing
  • Minimum one year of proven experience in SEO — must be comfortable with tech and core tech concepts
  • Interested in Publisher SEO and specializing in this subset for the long term
  • Must be experienced with using tools like Google Search Console, Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush etc. to uncover insights for clients
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work with minimal supervision in a collaborative and positive team environment
  • A self-starter with the ability to grasp requirements quickly
  • A continuous learner
  • Comfortable with project management and analytical tools
  • Track record in creating engaging and compelling content
  • A collaborative team player who values the success of the whole team, in addition to their own
