Location: For this role we are open to remote work located anywhere in the United States or Canada

The Ceridian finance team is searching for an experienced, reliable and business-oriented Executive Business Assistant. The Executive Business Assistant will work directly for the Chief Finance Officer and should expect interactions with senior executives across the board. This role will be responsible for performing several administrative, operational and strategic duties. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, professional, and a seasoned business assistant to senior level executives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically manage and plan the Chief Finance Officer’s day to day activities; including calendaring, meetings, appointments, and other commitments and ensure the most efficient use of time.
  • Oversee all travel arrangements and logistics which may include booking flights, car transfers and hotel accommodations.
  • Coordinate all meetings and conference calls as well as provide the required background information, which includes detailed travel itineraries, schedules, and briefing documents.
  • Proactively bring ideas and best practices forward to optimize operations and processes; encouraged to be active in team meetings.
  • Coordinate and manage special projects, team meetings or events with a keen focus on the details; including agenda management, setting targeted outcomes, and sending follow up minutes and action items as appropriate.
  • Perform advanced administrative duties to support the Chief Finance Officer including, but not limited to:
    • Regularly making critical judgements regarding the travel and activities of the Chief Finance Officerto ensure the most important focus is always addressed
    • Schedule meetings and appointments; manage travel itineraries and expense reports
    • Develop and maintain collaborative business relationships among internal and external stakeholders
    • Uphold a strict level of confidentiality

Qualifications required:

  • 5+ years of experience working as an Executive Assistant supporting senior-level executives, preferably in a global technology or professional services environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
