Job Description

Role Description:

  • Tally Labs is looking for a Sr. Product Designer to join our growing product team. This is an opportunity to have tremendous ownership over your work at a quickly growing Web3 start up. You will take ownership for every detail of the final design and have the creative freedom to shape the user experience of our products.
  • As a Senior Product Designer, you will be the lead designer for key features across our products. The focus of this role is on creating user experience and visual design for new features and improving existing features. You will be responsible for executing user flows, wireframes, visual design, prototypes, and user testing.
  • As a key member of this team, you’ll report into the Head of Product. You will also work closely with the Tally Labs Founders and Head of Engineering. The ideal candidate would bring a wide-range of concepts to the table and would constantly push the team’s view of what’s possible.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and design solutions that push forward user and business goals. You will own features for medium to large projects.
  • Rapidly iterate and refine design concepts-from initial briefing through final delivery.
  • Encourage new ways of thinking and exploring the unknown using fresh and unique approaches to design problems
  • Design systems to make simple, sophisticated experiences based on the constraints of Web3. Produce high fidelity deliverables that obsess with implementation ease just as much as pixel-perfection.
  • You’ll use data collected from research, testing, and analysis to create truly human-centered designs.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with a cross-functional team of product managers, engineers, researchers and fellow designers.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of product thinking, interaction design and execution.
  • Solid design process and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to produce an integrated look and feel between all pieces of a large project.
  • Deep knowledge of various design tools, including Figma.
  • Excellent communication skills that help you collaborate well with Product Managers, Developers, and other stakeholders.
  • 4+ years experience doing design full-time.
  • Curiosity to learn more about the Web3 domain.
  • 4+ hours of overlap with a 10am-6pm EDT workday (US East Coast).
