Job Description

Ginkgo Bioworks is a privately held, high-growth and well-funded biotechnology company based in Boston’s Seaport District. Our mission is to make biology easier to engineer. As a world leader in synthetic biology, we leverage our unparalleled data, automation, and scale capabilities in biological engineering to build custom organisms. Our products work across the economy - from custom proteins for plant-based foods, to novel microbes that can replace traditional fertilizer, to living medicines that respond to conditions in a patient’s body.


In response to the global COVID-19 pandemic, we have launched a new service: Concentric by Ginkgo. We firmly believe that testing is an essential requirement to re-open the economy as quickly and safely as possible. Concentric is the largest provider of K-12 testing. We currently run state-level K-12 testing programs in several states and some of the nation’s largest school districts.

Responsibilities

  • Support team in data & infrastructure efforts
  • Provide dashboard support for new clients & internal teams
  • Coordinate and troubleshoot data needs for clients & internal teams
  • Escalate in-bound support issues to Reports team as needed
  • Track, summarize and report on data issues & maintain documentation
  • Pay close attention to detail to sensitive (non-PII) information and data
  • Improve the day-to-day data, reporting, and dashboard flow
  • Tackle the most urgent and immediate problems facing the project as a whole
  • Continually shape the customer experience, as part of a cross-functional team
  • Support special projects, as requested
  • Programs supported: Superset, Tableau

Desired Experience and Capabilities

  • Associate's degree or higher
  • Experience performing data entry with a variety of software platforms and portals
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems, technologies, and processes
  • High level of comfort in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong level of efficiency and self-motivation to complete tasks accurately and on time
  • Extremely process-oriented mindset, with acute attention to detail
  • Strong drive to help our project succeed, keeping in mind Ginkgo’s mission and the customers we’re supporting
