Summary:

At Securly, we’re proud to offer innovative products that meet the needs and wants of our customers. To help us continue to grow our offerings and be the loudest advocate for our users, we’re in search of an experienced Product Manager to lead our Securly Reveal team. You will also be a part of a small group of product managers covering other related products included in Securly’s portfolio of 10.

As an ideal candidate, you have an in-depth understanding of your users’ community to set a clear vision and strategy for your product and make critical, evidence-based prioritization decisions that help us grow as market leaders. You have a proven ability to strategize the entire lifecycle of product production — from conception through release and have a keen eye for gaps in consumer product offerings and the innovative mindset to fill them. You may already be a confident leader with experience guiding cross-functional teams in successfully creating products that improve consumer experience and grow market share.

This is a remote role with preferred core hour being 8-5 pm EST.

What You Will Do: ******

  • Develop an exceptional understanding of the needs of the various personas who use our products such as administrators, IT admins and others through structured user research
  • Build a strategic vision around the future of the product and market
  • Educate, advocate, and evangelize your product initiatives, so there is internal awareness and alignment
  • Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch
  • Collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders to gather data for product evaluation and prioritization including sales, support, customer success, and customers, then execute on those priorities working together with project managers and engineering.
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Securly and its features across primary market segments
  • Communicate product strategy, road maps, and progress to all stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • You have 6+ years of experience in product ownership/management, preferably with EdTech Products or K-12 software
  • Strong experience in a dynamic product management role
  • Proven experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
  • Highly effective cross-functional team management
  • Previous experience delivering finely-tuned product marketing strategies
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills
  • You don’t need explicit direction or micro-managing. You’re self-driven, entrepreneurial, value product team alignment, and can use your resources to accomplish your goals on your own
  • You can operate effectively with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
  • You understand the technical architecture of complex & modern web applications. You can tailor the technical communication level based on the room's audience.
