Administrative Assistant

Department: HR & Administration


Join Answer Financial, an Allstate Company, and use your administrative experience and skills to provide administrative and project support related to multiple areas of our business, with focus and emphasis on human resources, recruiting, compensation, and licensing. The position will support executives, associates, peers, and operation teams, serving as a point of contact, assisting with assigned projects and process-oriented activities. The position is responsible for ensuring Answer associates have an experience that is representative of our mission and core values and will align and build upon established policies and programs. We offer you a 100% remote environment.

  • Manage, coordinate, and track documents via the ATS and Business Information Group.
  • Manage onboarding process to include, system updates, agendas, and follow up.
  • Confirm, initiate, and submit information via multiple internal systems.
  • Work collaboratively across the organization and interface professionally at all levels.
  • Provide support with highly confidential materials/documents.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism along with a positive attitude.
  • Learn and maintain knowledge of plans, policies, programs, and systems.
  • Partner with the project/agile leader to understand aspects of projects and provide support in the execution of project activities as assigned.
  • Provide analytical and specialized administrative support.
  • Maintain a consistent work schedule to meet the needs of the business.
  • Develop methods for tracking information to include action items, deliverables, and tasks assigned to other team members.
  • Multitask in a fast-paced remote environment. Set and maintain priorities.


  • 3+ years administrative experience required, HR preferred.
  • Attention to detail is a must.
  • Experience working with confidential, sensitive matters, and information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Take initiative and work independently.
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Ability to support remote team members across multiple locations.
  • Excellent computer skills, including thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, databases, and advanced spreadsheet skills required.
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment, set priorities to accomplish multiple tasks within deadlines, and adapt to ever changing needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and “can do” attitude are required.
  • Experience working with all levels of internal management, stakeholders, and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.
  • Ability and demonstrated experience to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner with minimal direction.
  • Advanced computer skills working in multiple systems to include Excel/Outlook/Word/PowerPoint.
  • Desire and success working in a 100% remote environment.
  • College degree preferred.
