Job Description

This role is part of our Product & Merchandising team. Your work will directly impact Lalo’s growth, you will be a key contributor to the new products brought to market. The primary objectives of this position are to maximize efficiency in our product development projects and product pipeline, increase organizational abilities and communication on cross functional product launches, and to provide enhanced visibility of milestones and deliverables throughout the development process. This role reports to the VP of Product & Merchandising and works cross-functionally with our Design, Engineering, Sourcing, Operations and Merchandising teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead timeline planning for all new development projections with a focus on quality, speed and efficiency
  • Create timelines and manage workflows for product design, prototyping, sourcing and testing, prioritizing projects of highest impact
  • Scope goals and set deadlines for key milestones in project plans, allocating appropriate resources and delegating tasks to identified stakeholders
  • Manage production timelines and workflows for all new PD, refinement and replenishment projectsIdentify potential risks, liabilities, or delays, and proactively mitigate those risks
  • Act as a strategic decision-maker throughout project progression and clearly communicate strategy and status to cross functional teams and leadership

Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 3-5 years experience in project management, product development experience preferred
  • Some experience working with both domestic and/or offshore suppliers
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to lead a team(s) in a project-based environment
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Strong organization, with an impeccable attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a goal of keeping all stakeholders accountable
  • Scrappy, comfortable wearing many hats and able to collaborate across all levels of the organization
  • Proficient in project management tools and knowledge of Airtable a major plus
