The Opportunity

We are seeking for a UX/UI Designer to help guide Remitbee into the future. In this role, you will be involved in the entire UX/UI process by preparing and developing UI designs. You will also be a part of building our next generation app. If you are passionate about creative interface design, Remitbee is the perfect place for you to learn cutting edge technologies and to learn how to use them to develop products and services.

This position will be a full-time (40 hours/week) remote. The compensation will be based on the market and previous experience. The successful candidate will also have an opportunity to work in Canada through company sponsorship visa after completing 24 months of contribution to our team in India with excellent performance.

Key Responsibilities 

Working with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, researchers, content strategists, fellow designers) to drive design vision and strategy that meets the needs of our users

Working and contributing to full iterative design process for all Remitbee products including web applications, native mobile apps & various dashboards.

You’ll work in Agile environment including design sprints to define and explore user problems, creating content architecture, sketching, wireframing, low and high-fidelity prototyping, and leading stakeholder reviews.

You’ll be conducting user research and interviews on different stages of product development.

You’ll be working on improvement, expansion and maintenance of our growing design system in an effort to cultivate a coherent look and feel across all Remitbee products.

Conducting ongoing usability and product quality research and analysis. Preparing recommendations and guidelines on how to improve the user experience of products.

Gathering and evaluating user requirements, in collaboration with product managers and engineers.

Required Skills/Qualifications

1-3 of proven work experience as a UI/UX designer or similar role.

Strong knowledge & understanding of a full iterative design process, including how to create and use personas, journey and empathy mapping, content modelling, wireframing and prototyping, user testing, and high-fidelity visuals.

Deep experience with driving and applying user-centered design processes while working with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and user research.

A deep empathy for the user.

Excellent communication and storytelling skills; you have the ability to help your team and stakeholders understand the “why” behind your design rationale.

Excellent time-management skills and ability to work on a multiple project simultaneously in Agile environment.

Experience of work in dynamic Startup environment is an asset.
