Hi, we're Oscar. We’re hiring a Vice President, Growth Marketing to join our Marketing team.

About the role:

You’ll be joining to lead our Growth Marketing team, which is responsible for driving marketing strategies that increase membership growth and retention across Oscar’s three lines of insurance business, as well as increase our visibility and reach for out +Oscar technology business.

Reporting into the Chief Communications Officer, you’ll be responsible for developing and overseeing the marketing strategy to support the company’s national growth efforts and help us maintain our reputation as one of the most customer-centric and innovative companies that you could imagine in healthcare (not just health insurance). You will also gain high-level management exposure and be responsible for developing meaningful programs to disrupt the health insurance market.

Responsibilities:

- Managing, developing and growing a team of 10+ talented marketing professionals.

Develop a strategic category plan, complete with outlined objectives, defined market opportunities, strategy and tactics, ensuring growth objectives are continually achieved and delivered.

Continual definition and on-going brand equity and awareness building techniques to deliver to the fresh purpose, mission, promise, core values to protect brand for longevity long-term

Build out a 3-year innovation roadmap and category/franchise building blocks to drive growth objectives

Collaborate and drive campaign development and all consumer facing creative within timelines

Build strong cross-functional relationships with Sales, Product and Brand partners to win new customers, expand into new markets & maintain customer loyalty

Provide oversight of performance marketing strategy, with focus on driving acquisition cost efficiencies

Partner with consumer insights and communications to develop world-class national and highly localized marketing initiatives

Develop a multi-year learning agenda with both long-term plans and a near-term test and learn strategy

Develop a roadmap and structure to support key business goals and ensure future success

Act as a mentor and coach to inspire, encourage and motivate individuals; helping them shape their own career path and development

Requirements:

15+ years of experience in brand and/or growth marketing roles

Experience building, managing and growing a team of employees

B2B and DTC marketing experience

Cross-functional leadership experience

Experience working with third-party sales channels as a growth driver
