Job Description

As a key member of iZotope's procurement marketing team, you will be responsible for writing a customer-facing marketing copy for iZotope's award-winning product line.

As a key member of iZotope’sAcquisition Marketing Team, you will be responsible for writing customer-facing marketing copy for iZotope’s award-winning lineup of products.

The ideal candidate will be a creatively-driven copywriter who knows what it takes to convert target audience members into customers. You will have the opportunity to represent and shape the creative voice of iZotope through our marketing and deliver exceptional copywriting across a range of marketing channels, including emails, paid media, our website, and in-product messaging. This role will report to the Senior Marketing Manager.

You Will

  • Write clear and engaging on-brand copy that drives conversions and helps acquire new users
  • Influence and elevate the copywriting discipline at iZotope to help us produce world-class marketing content
  • Become an expert on iZotope’s customers, researching what their biggest audio challenges are and translating that into compelling copy
  • A/B test variations of your copy to learn what performs best (subject lines, landing page headers, etc.) and share what you learn with the organization
  • Understand and employ SEO best practices to maximize copy’s reach on the site
  • Edit and proofread copy with an eye for detail
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to multitask and offers exposure to many different kinds of copywriting opportunities
  • Stay current with marketing trends and competitors’ copywriting

You Have

  • 4+ years of professional copywriting experience
  • Experience writing conversion-oriented copy for various media including email, paid media, and web copy
  • An ability to work cross-functionally with other stakeholders to understand our products, customers and deliver on-time and on-message copy in service of our business goals
  • Excellent copywriting and copyediting skills, with high attention to detail and expert understanding of US English grammar
  • Experience with search engine optimization for website copy
  • Experience with audio production including knowledge of mixing and mastering is ideal but not required
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager is ideal but not required
  • Agency background is a plus but not required

We have a thoughtful approach when it comes to compensation. Towards the end of each interview process, we create customized compensation reports based off of skill, years of experience, geographic location, and other factors driven by market research. Specific details may be discussed during the initial call with the Talent Acquisition Partner.

Market data in Colorado suggests this position’s compensation would start at $64k based off of geographic location and skill level. Upon assessment of the individual’s experience an exact amount will be determined.
