Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Product Analytics Manager for Sellers & Monetization tribe with excellent analytical and managerial skills to help develop, optimize and manage the product analytics function of OLX Group’s European Real Estate business (Otodom.pl, Storia.ro and Imovirtual.com). You will act as a strategic advisor to our Product and Technology team, influencing the product roadmap through strong data insights and analytics. You will need to think strategically about the Analytics function to be able to scale it to extract insights from always evolving products and services: You will build the next level of analytics capabilities that will support our product function.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead a team (5 people) to drive product analytics function for Real Estate Customer Unit in line with our business objectives
  • Proactively working on strategy for Sellers & Monetization tribe together with Product & Business teams
  • Closely collaborate and act as a strategic partner to the product, technology, marketing, BI and executive teams to translate key business questions into actionable recommendations for our product
  • Lead, coach and mentor a team focused on developing and enhancing analytics and insights
  • Drive key analytics projects including forecasting, A/B testing and funnel optimization
  • Develop in-depth analytical understanding of what drives growth for the product and how it can be improved
  • Implement tools, processes and ways of working to be able to extract consumer insights in an effective way
  • Ensure a high quality of analytical approaches and strategy frameworks
  • Ensure knowledge sharing on best practices across Product Analytics and Commercial Analytics

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in Data Analytics/Product analytics, having closely worked with product in an internet/e-commerce company
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a manager of data teams
  • Master’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related field
  • Hands-on experience working as a data analyst or data scientist working with Python/R it’s a must
  • Hands-on experience in pricing or monetization will be a huge advantage
  • Experience in leading projects (improving existing products and introducing new ones)
  • Exposure to data products (e.g. data pipelines, data warehouses, data viz)
  • Highly advanced SQL skills (AWS Redshift preferred)
  • General all-round tech person with an insatiable thirst to learn and a broad skill-set to deliver on such a diverse project (e.g. comfortable using technologies such as Git, AWS, Docker, Jenkins, AirFlow, etc.)
  • Proactive and passionate: You are independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems and delivering high-quality results in challenging situations
  • Excellent analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to translate data and information into actionable insights and business recommendations
  • Proven results tying analytics to impact business results - viewed as a critical business partner, integral to the strategic and tactical product, marketing and sales decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication English skills and ability to deliver executive-level insights and guidance
  • Ability to influence, drive change and set the example in an environment with multiple stakeholders
