We’re looking for an Associate Marketing Manager at River who demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively and get things done. In this role, you’ll be executing various marketing campaigns in River's marketing playbook and managing River’s social media. You’ll be reporting directly to River’s Senior Marketing Manager and working closely with the research team to craft meaningful content.

What you will be doing

  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to prioritize and execute various marketing campaigns on the roadmap
  • Brainstorm marketing ideas to continue to level up River’s brand positioning, distribution channels, and messaging
  • Create, communicate, and execute a social media strategy across River’s social media channels including Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit, and Nostr
  • Drive community engagement activities across various channels
  • Partner with the Research team to craft relevant content
  • Be the voice of the customer and relay findings internally to inform messaging
  • Manage email-based marketing for River
  • Think creatively and critically about our ideal target audiences and how to best attract them
  • Partner with the Product and Engineering teams to contribute to product marketing efforts for the launch of new products and promotions
  • Collaborate with Relationship Management and Design to develop marketing materials that support the sales process
  • Measure the effectiveness of marketing activities and incorporate learnings to continuously improve and focus on the highest impact efforts

What we look for in you

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, product marketing or similar go-to-market experience
  • Knowledge of brand identity and digital marketing
  • Highly organized
  • Familiarity with marketing tools, such as HubSpot, and Google Analytics.
  • Results-focused, entrepreneurial, innovative, and eager to build
  • Demonstrated partnerships with cross-functional teams
  • Desire to experiment and iterate
  • Strong writer and communicator
  • A positive attitude

Nice to haves

  • Understanding of Bitcoin and the Bitcoin community
  • Demonstrated experience in managing social media for a company’s brand

Salary and benefits

  • Salary range is $90,000 - $110,000 dependent on experience

Interview Process

  • Introduction Interview (45 minutes)
  • Role specific interview block (1 hour with 2 River employees)
