The Data Entry Manager carries out the mission and goals of the Data Entry team and develops and maintains a culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement and high performance. They foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among department members that allows the team to effectively work together to enable each employee and the department to succeed. The Data Entry Manager ensures timely turnaround of tasks, accuracy of data entry and communication to management that meet service levels and quality standards. The Data Entry Manager is also tasked with collecting feedback from team members and implementing process improvements where applicable.

Job Description

  • Manage team to ensure data entry tasks meet or exceed service levels and quality standards
  • Conduct quality reviews to ensure accuracy and thoroughness of cases entered
  • Prioritize assignments, distribute case work to the data entry team and work with clients to review data entry output
  • Manage deadlines, work estimates, contract signatures, invoices and collections
  • Develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures pertinent to the effective and efficient operation of the Data Entry team that reflect industry best practices
  • Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals; delegate responsibility and expect accountability
  • Develop, coach and educate team members to ensure data accuracy and adherence to all privacy procedures and requirements (secure upload to document repository, etc.)
  • Provide support to Relationship Management and Sales regarding Data Entry services available to existing clients and prospects.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding service failures or customer concerns
  • Acts as a resource in providing long term resolution to customer issues and manage elevated issues from clients that require interaction with a manager, acting as point of contact with internal departments to resolve issues
  • Maintain knowledge of eMoney’s product and enhancements to support clients and staff
  • Remediate customer complaints and field credit requests acting in compliance with department guidelines
  • Support the development of staff’s growth in the organization by establishing plans, creating objectives, communicating standards, monitoring performance and providing coaching and training
  • Oversee fair and reasonable distribution of tasks and duties based on team member specialty and experience level
  • Provide effective performance feedback through employee recognition, rewards and disciplinary action, with the assistance of Human Resources when necessary
  • Appropriately communicate information through department meetings, one-on-one meetings and appropriate email and interpersonal communication
  • Conduct interviews, gather feedback from the interview team and select hires to fill open positions on the Data Entry team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 3+ years of managerial experience in a Data Entry or Clients Services organization or relevant experience in the Financial or Insurance industry
  • Strong understanding of financial terms and concepts
  • Ability to read and interpret financial documents (pay statements, tax forms, quarterly investment statements, financial reports, bank statements, 401k & retirement plan statements, insurance documents, etc.)
    Skills (Software, Soft Skills, KSAs)
  • Ability to lead and motivate employees of varying experience, tenure, professional and educational background
  • Working knowledge of financial planning concepts
  • Strong aptitude for data entry / client services staff development
  • Working knowledge of financial services operations
  • Advanced knowledge of eMoney Advisor’s products and services is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
  • Strong independent judgement and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to successfully solve problems and resolve conflicts independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding organizational, time management and leadership skills
  • Proven success leading a team to achieve team goals, KPIs and individual productivity measures
  • Detail-oriented and takes pride in accomplishing a wide variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment

The salary range for this position is $64,000 - $89,000; commensurate salary to be determined based on skills, professional background and expertise. This position is also eligible, pursuant to applicable eMoney policies, for the annual bonus program, retirement contributions, health insurance, sick leave, parental leave and paid time off.
