Fi is looking for a Technical Writer!

We're looking for a Technical Writer with a knack for crafting clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation. Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented communicator capable of transforming complex technical information into user-friendly content. This individual will be instrumental in revamping our help center, ensuring it remains polished, up-to-date, and serves as a reliable knowledge base for our upcoming AI tools. The role involves creating both technical and non-technical articles, focusing on practical and digestible everyday solutions for our users.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in technical writing or a related field. Proven track record of creating and managing high-quality technical documentation.
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to understand and explain technical concepts in a simple, clear manner. Experience with technical documentation tools and platforms.
  • Writing Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Ability to write both technical and non-technical content.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all documentation.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrated flexibility and eagerness to stay updated with new tools and methodologies in technical writing and documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Help Center Revamp: Lead the overhaul of our help center, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date, accurate, and user-friendly.
  • Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including user manuals, how-to guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting articles.
  • Content Creation: Write and update articles covering practical topics like “unplug/replug your base” and other user: Work closely with product, engineering, and customer support teams to gather information and ensure documentation reflects the latest updates and best practices.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to ensure the highest standards in technical documentation.
  • Iterative Updates: Proactively manage updates to documentation when product changes occur, ensuring internal and external content remains accurate and relevant.
  • AI Tool Integration: Prepare and structure documentation to support integration with AI tools, ensuring they have access to accurate and current information.
