Job Description

The Brand Marketing department is focused on the overall marketing strategy at Tykoon Sports and manages both external and internal growth goals. The Brand Marketing team is involved and dedicated to deriving growth strategies for the business, from reputation building to growing our social presence and community.

We seek a creative, innovative, and eager intern to assist Tykoon Sports in improving our brand awareness and creatively catering to our target audience through compelling visual content, graphics, and more. This experience will allow the right candidate to learn, grow, and apply real-life marketing skills.

As a Brand Marketing Intern, you will gain experience through hands-on projects and daily tasks using social media platforms to promote, manage, and share Tykoon Sports content. You will also learn different strategies to strengthen our market position, such as assisting with industry research, helping to pitch the brand to different media opportunities (PR), and assisting with applications for things such as grants and sponsorships.

*This position is unpaid and for students interested in experience oppurtunities in sports management, business, marketing, etc.


  • Help brainstorm unique content strategies for capturing target audiences and increasing engagement
  • Curate and/or produce engaging and compelling visual content for company social media profiles: Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn
  • Assist with tracking social media analytics and reporting on new and developing social media platforms
  • Have advanced knowledge of popular social media platforms from a brand perspective
  • Research, segment, and understand Tykoon Sports ‘service offerings
  • Assist with operational planning for Tykoon Sports-led events
  • Help manage basic website maintenance tasks as needed
  • Represent Tykoon Agency’s brand, values, and goals daily through your attitude, actions, and communication


  • Experience using social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok
  • Passion for sports and understanding of the NIL landscape
  • Ability to initiate innovative ideas and judge correctly what will appeal to target audiences
  • Experience with Canva, Powerpoint/Keynote, Photoshop, iMovie, OBS, and Illustrator is advantageous but not necessary
  • Possess a basic understanding of marketing and communications
  • Must be creative and resourceful
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes quickly
