Job Description

ROAR AFRICA is seeking a CRM and Marketing Automation Manager to join its marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for all Salesforce and Mailchimp management including all aspects of maintaining data integrity, setup and processes, and support and training as we look to maintain our position as leaders in the African safari industry. We are looking for a manager who is flexible, dedicated and able to achieve a high standard of results.

As CRM and Marketing Automation Manager, you will establish and grow our Salesforce and Mailchimp platforms. You will be responsible for analyzing data, uploading content, maintaining systems and functionality for our databases. You will assure the highest level of integrity of these platforms to safeguard all marketing operations. This role will work directly with the Chief Marketing Officer and the Marketing Team to collaborate and report on the above.

Duties and Responsibilities

● Oversee all aspects of user and license management, including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions and public groups.
● Maintain a high level of data integrity and resolve any problems that arise with data input and maintenance.
● Set up of dashboards and reports within platforms.
● Analyze the performance of our sales team using Salesforce and email campaigns using Mailchimp.
● Resolve any support issues that may arise.
● Setup and maintain software links and integrations.
● Weekly sales and data reporting.
● Admin responsibilities for all SAS related to operations and sales departments.
● Identify and gather requirements from users and stakeholders.
● Support team members and monitor user adoption of platform tools within organization.
● Provide ongoing user training and provide training materials when needed.

Required Experience/Skills

● Experience as system administrator in Salesforce and Mailchimp.
● 5+ years experience in marketing operations/automation.
● Extensive experience in marketing operations/automation maintenance of systems.
● In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products, APIs and functionality.
● Proven ability to take initiative to identify and resolve problems as soon as they arise.
● Proven experience to perform upgrades and successful integrations within Salesforce.
● Ability to distill data into digestible and coherent visualizations.
● Ability to form professional relationships across departments.
● Familiarity with Mailchimp templates.
● Positive, persuasive communicator.

Education

Bachelors Degree or above.
