Job Description

MyZone Marketing Agency is looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Account Manager to help us develop and maintain strong relationships with our agency’s clients. We are looking for someone who excels in addressing client’s needs and concerns as quickly and effectively as possible.

We were inspired by Dan Pink’s Ted Talk on the science of motivation, and believe that an intrinsically motivated team is the best way to solve the problems of the 21st century (i.e.: we don’t use carrots or sticks!). What you'll do

Client Relations: Build and maintain strong client relationships, address concerns, and ensure overall satisfaction.
Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor account managers, ensuring they meet objectives and targets.
Strategy: Collaborate with clients on their marketing goals and aid in formulating strategies.
Performance Review: Evaluate campaign results, provide insights, and suggest improvements.
Operational Efficiency: Optimize account management processes and tools for better performance.
Financial Oversight: Manage campaign budgets to ensure profitability.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Liaise with other departments for cohesive campaign strategies.
Business Development: Seek new business opportunities and assist in client pitches.
Continued Education: Stay updated on digital marketing trends and ensure team training.
Crisis Management: Address client concerns promptly and provide solutions.
Reporting: Update senior management on team performance, client satisfaction, and account metrics.
Set up and maintain administrative work for clients: This includes the client’s real estate on Asana, Slack, Google Drive, and other platforms, ensuring that all billable hours are being tracked and invoiced.

What you'll bring

You have a BS/MS degree in advertising, marketing, business administration, and communications; OR equivalent professional work experience.
You have a minimum of 5+ years of experience working as an account manager for a digital marketing agency.
You are available to tend to client requests and attend meetings between 9am-3pm Pacific Time as needed.
You've worked in an agency setting and you understand the ever-changing priorities and deadlines of the environment.
You have a proven ability to effectively manage a client relationship from onboarding to implementation.
You are super organized and efficient with task management, able to work independently and remotely. You also have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment... and we mean fast. ;)
You have a strong desire to learn new skills, improve processes, and continually develop personally and professionally.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, you speak English at an idiomatic level and feel comfortable working in English.

Nice to haves

Asana, Slack, and Google Workspace experiences are a plus!
