Position Summary

Provide clerical support to the Accounts Payable department to include a combination of duties such as processing invoices, answering telephones, bookkeeping, typing or word processing, office machine operation, and filing.

Duties & Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL

  • Distribute 200-300 invoices received from suppliers per day
  • Matching vendor documentation with company documentation ensuring line by line accuracy.
  • Process/review invoices including review of proper coding, proof of purchase and verification of approvals when needed.
  • Review Statements
  • Correspond with vendors and research and resolve vendor problems and billing discrepancies.
  • Assist with system implementation/upgrade testing.
  • Assist with any other duties the department needs assistance with.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilties.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • 0 to 6 months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs, Word and Excel.
  • A self-motivated individual who adapts quickly with today's virtual knowledge, self-disciplined with a work schedule remotely from home and/or another designated geographic area as needed in order to support the Accounts Payable department needs.

DESIRED

  • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Student currently enrolled in college or technical college
  • Oracle (PeopleSoft) experience.

Additional Information

The position will be Hybrid - Remote. Employees are expected to travel to their designated office as schedules require.
