POSTED July 10
Marketing Manager for Low-Code SaaS Platform (Full-Time, Remote) at Draftbit
- Digital Marketing
- Fulltime
- Anywhere (100% Remote) Only
Job Description
Hey there—we're Draftbit! We are a growing startup based in the US with a team spread all over the world. Our product is a no-code/low-code mobile app builder that exports React Native source code. You can learn more about it at draftbit.com.
We are looking for a unique person to join as a generalist marketing manager. The potential for this role is to grow into Head of Marketing for Draftbit. Please read this description carefully; we only accept applications from candidates who follow our instructions.
The goal of this role is to add someone to Draftbit's team who can coordinate a number of new and existing marketing efforts for Draftbit. Our business is a combination of a SaaS platform and a digital agency of expert services, so having experience in either of those is a plus.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- We are hiring a marketing manager generalist who will create, maintain, and manage a number of online marketing efforts including: affiliates, SEO, PPC, Partnerships, content, and more.
- Draftbit is a technical product. You'll need to be technical enough to understand how Draftbit works so that you can understand where and how to market it. Everyone on our team can use Draftbit to build, so you must be willing to spend time learning the platform to become proficient.
- This is a full-time opportunity. You'll need to commit at least 40 hours per week to qualify, and you'll need to be available between 9 AM and 12 PM Central US time to overlap with our team. The rest of your hours can be earlier or later; we are flexible.
- This is an ongoing role, not a specific project.
- You'll work with our team asynchronously, communicating primarily on Slack and Zoom.
YOU'RE A GOOD FIT IF:
- You have experience working with other online SaaS tools that target startups, agencies, and large enterprises. We have multiple customer personas.
- You should have a robust english-focused sense of copywriting and understand how to communicate about our platform to audiences.
- You should have experience as a generalist marketer, managing tools, projects, and other platforms, and measuring your outcomes.
- While you don't need to be an expert at all of these channels, you should be an expert in at least 1-2 of the following: Video / Youtube, Affiliate Marketing, SEO & Content, Paid Ads / PPC.
- You're comfortable with ownership and working autonomously. This means acting proactively and communicating the choices you made and why.
- You're comfortable working between many ongoing projects and tasks, understanding priorities and deadlines, and communicating about them with other members of the team.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and are comfortable speaking in English via video.
- You have serious attention to detail and want to "get it right", even if that means iterating or starting over if it isn't correct.
- You're available at least 40 hours per week to work on these projects.
Important -- We are only working with individuals for this position, not Teams or Agencies. So only apply if you'll be working directly with us.
TO APPLY:
To help us identify the serious applicants, not just those who send generic applications and don't read job descriptions, please send a resume and cover letter explaining why you're a good fit for the role. Please be specific. Please include in your letter something you would change about the Draftbit website to make it better, and details about your technical experience, so that we know you read these instructions carefully.
We will only consider applicants who complete the steps above. Thank you!
Brian from Draftbit
