About the Role:
Casetext is looking for a data-oriented, technical, and motivated player-coach to bring our company’s marketing and operational objectives to life while untangling the complexities of our rapidly growing growth organization. In this role you will be responsible for Casetext’s B2B marketing tech stack and provide oversight of systems to verify that leads are effectively captured, engaged, marketing qualified, and routed to sales appropriately. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders in Demand Generation and Sales to understand their challenges, help identify potential solutions, and translate business requirements into technical requirements. You will manage the delivery of the solutions to ensure that they are executed with high quality, and that they drive meaningful improvement in customer and internal team experience. You will be an expert on how data flows in our system, and will be able to articulate solutions that are simple and scalable. Your work will be critical in helping Casetext scale and grow as the leading player in legal research technology.

Reports to VP of Revenue Operations. No direct reports.

As the Lead Marketing Operations Manager at Casetext you will…

  • Work cross-functionally with members of the Marketing, Sales, Data, and Product teams to proactively identify areas of improvement in Casetext’s marketing operations and bring together the tactical stakeholders to turn those ideas into a reality
  • Lead programs, projects, and efforts of the Marketing Operations team. Coach, support, and delegate to other operational peers.
  • Design business-facing processes for existing marketing team members to improve efficiency based on the current needs of the marketing team
  • Own the full lifecycle of your projects, from gathering requirements with various teams, to the execution, testing and deployment of a solution
  • Have a strategic mind for areas of potential risk -- deftly coming up with forward looking ideas on how to prevent issues from arising
  • Provide subject matter expertise to the broader Revenue team on how different pieces of information are collected in our go-to-market process
  • Define marketing funnel stages and set up Hubspot to capture and track leads across all CaseText digital properties
  • Carry out segmentation of the database and collaborating with Marketing to implement email marketing strategies, such as nurture programs or re-engagement programs
  • Improve the performance and health of the database through audience segmentation, content, images, send times, list hygiene, deliverability, etc.
  • Own high-quality conversion tactics, including strategies for data capture such as progressive profiling and predictive ICP scoring
  • Make recommendations to Growth and Website teams to increase lead capture / engagement, such as via gated content
  • Partner closely with Sales Ops to ensure that process are effectively delivering marketing qualified leads to sales

We are looking for..

  • 5+ years experience in Marketing Operations roles and with Marketing Operations systems + CRM (Hubspot experience required)
  • Success stories of coaching other team members or direct reports and leading projects for a team
  • Strong working knowledge of the overlap between operations, systems and front line Marketing execution
  • Track record of success in designing and implementing technology solutions to business problems
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability translate complex data into concrete and profitable marketing plans
  • Demonstrated ability to gather feedback, drive consensus and manage change
  • Systems and process-oriented mindset, easily able to self-onboard to new tools and understand how different systems work together to contribute to our sales motion
  • Experience planning and implementing multi-touch campaigns, including off-to-on and on-to-offline campaigns, nurture programs, and various types of paid acquisition programs
  • Action-oriented, "can do" attitude demonstrating willingness to accept accountability and responsibility for individual actions, and team results
