Senior UX Researcher at Coursedog
- Design
- Fulltime
- Anywhere (100% Remote) Only
Job Description
Title: Senior UX Researcher
We are looking for a proactive, strategic, and detail-oriented Senior User Experience Researcher to join our dynamic team. As the first User Experience Researcher at Coursedog, you will play a crucial role in establishing and leading our User Experience research function. You will be responsible for independently conducting research, analyzing user interactions, and delivering actionable insights to enhance our product offerings. You will work closely with our product designer and our product managers to translate research findings into tangible product improvements. Your work will be pivotal in shaping the user experience and driving the overall success of our products and our company.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Lead UX Research Efforts: Independently manage and execute UX research projects from start to finish, including designing research plans, conducting user interviews, usability testing, and surveys.
- User Insights: Gather and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points. Translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations to drive the product roadmap.
- Research Strategy: Develop and implement research strategies that align with business goals and product development cycles. Explore complex, ambiguous problem spaces, working cross-functionally to understand the opportunity and chart a path forward.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and developers to integrate research findings into product strategy, product design, and development processes.
- Reporting: Create comprehensive research reports and presentations to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.
- Build Function: Establish and grow the UX research function within Coursedog, setting standards and processes for future research activities.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX research, with a proven track record of managing end-to-end research projects.
- Strong understanding of various UX research methodologies, both qualitative and quantitative.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a bias for action and a growth mindset. Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of the research function with minimal oversight.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
- Grit, hustle, and a “get-it-done” attitude — no task is too big or too small — with the ability to context switch between strategic thinking, deep analytical problem solving, and execution related tasks.
- Motivated self-starter with ownership mentality, a track record of success, and a proven ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks while hitting deadlines.
Working at Coursedog
Benefits
- Healthcare: We pay 99% of your medical, dental, and vision coverage and 75% of the premium for your spouse and/or dependents

- Parental Leave: To help support new parents in the workplace, we offer 6 weeks of paid parental leave.

POSTED Sep 16
Product Designer at Red Collar
- Design
- Fulltime
- Anywhere (100% Remote) Only
Job Description
Hello! We are looking for a senior specialist to join the Red Collar team in the design communications department.
Red Collar has been creating aesthetic digital products for businesses for 12 years. We experiment, make bold decisions, and take responsibility for our actions. Our projects have no "expiration date" — even after many years, they continue to inspire and serve as benchmarks.
Responsibilities:
You're a proactive team player skilled at integrating into existing design processes, ready to view them from a new perspective and work on their improvement.
You're meticulous and detail-oriented, diving deep into tasks from the acceptance stage, delving into requirements, asking questions, and thinking broadly about the product.
As a responsible and empathetic leader, you know how to take charge of a group of designers on a project, plan their work, control the quality of the outcome, listen to their professional needs, and provide assistance where necessary.
You're thorough in your approach, understanding that tasks are more than just instructions for action. You always consider the context and surroundings, recognizing when it's essential to grasp the underlying meaning and fill in any gaps in your knowledge.
Open to discussion, you're also prepared to initiate it, understanding where transparency is lacking and creating platforms for constructive resolution of emerging issues. You build trustful, collaborative relationships within the workgroup.
You're quick to understand, able to decode client desires and bring references that accurately describe their request so the team knows what to do next.
You know that the devil is in the details, paying close attention to everything from button rounding to color shades, and instilling this approach across the team. You maintain order in your layouts and files, ensuring anyone on the project can easily navigate them without your help.
You can channel creativity in the right direction, familiar with the concept of a constraint corridor, working within it, and shaping it for the team. You understand that a good idea comes through creative sessions and numerous work iterations.
You test your solutions, relying not only on your expertise but also on hypothesis testing through UX research.
You are professional in communication, interacting with clients and the team consistently, respectfully, and constructively, and presenting your work results. Your statements are always backed by solid arguments, not just words tossed into the wind.
What we expect:
- Experience of at least 3 years in product development or in an agency working on product projects.
- Development of mobile applications, web services with complex branching logic, and interfaces for other regularly used platforms with high user load.
- Creation and support of expansive and documented design systems.
- Leadership of a design team on a major project for at least six months.
- A portfolio with a minimum of five commercial projects that demonstrate a high level of visual literacy.
