SCA Data Technician

Locations: Indianapolis, Indiana; Hingham, Massachusetts; Baltimore, Maryland; Syracuse, New York; Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; Denison, Texas; Atlanta, Georgia; Cincinnati, Ohio; Richmond, Virginia: South Portland, Maine

Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model with pulse point sites (major office) used for collaboration, community, and connection. This position can be primarily remote, however, will be based within 50 miles of a pulse point site listed above.

Our SCA Data Technician is responsible for conducting research and collecting and entering data for complex and moderately varied issues and situations related to the Prior Authorization Program.


Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Collects data.

Inputs data to spreadsheets and databases.

Updates databases as needed.

Pay: the pay for this position varies by location, is set by the government, and is non-negotiable.

The pay is as follows:

Indianapolis, Indiana - $19.65/hr

Hingham, Massachusetts - $20.64/hr

Baltimore, Maryland - $20.64/hr

Syracuse, New York - $19.65/hr

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania - $18.67/hr

Denison, Texas - $18.67/hr

Atlanta, Georgia - $19.65/hr

Cincinnati, Ohio - $19.65/hr

Richmond, Virginia - $19.65/hr

South Portland, Maine - $18.67/hr

Minimum Qualification:

Requires HS diploma or equivalent; a minimum of 3 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

This position is part of our NGS (National Government Services) division which, per CMS TDL 190275, requires foreign national applicants meet the residency requirement of living in the United States at least three of the past five years.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced written analytical, organizational and PC skills.

Processing in FISS and/or MCS claims processing system.

Letter processing/mailing.

Phone calls to providers.
