• Drive Design Projects: Lead design efforts from initial discovery and research through to final UI implementation, ensuring a seamless user experience

Who You Are.

• You have 3+ years of thinking through the user journey and producing user flows, wireframes, and interface designs
• You have extraordinary visual, interaction, and system design skills. You understand the importance of user experience and how design can impact business results

• You know how to present your work to internal stakeholders, and clients, and are comfortable defending your design decisions and choices in person

As a Product Designer Intern, you will work closely with our design team to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for our products. This is a hands-on role where you will be involved in every aspect of the design process, from concept to final implementation.

About Us:

Clipp is on a mission to digitize the $325bn+ food supply chain network with AI-powered order management solutions. We’re an early-stage startup (7 employees) with big ambitions, solving complex problems for restaurants and suppliers. We are looking for a Product Designer to take the lead on creating user-centered designs that are functional, innovative, and intuitive.

Clipp has raised $600K to-date with angel investors from Doordash, Palantir, and several restaurant groups. Our founding team consists of ex-founders with deep experience in food supply chain, restaurants, and digital marketplaces. This is a unique opportunity to disrupt a legacy industry where there is still ample whitespace, and work with a unique type of customer who has historically been resistant to change but is starting to adapt to newer technologies.

The Role:

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer who can take full ownership of the design process. You’ll be responsible for understanding our customers’ needs and translating them into seamless, functional, and visually appealing user experiences. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and sales, to ensure that our designs are user-centered and support business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the entire design process, from research and ideation to wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand user needs, personas, and product requirements.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterative design improvements based on feedback.

What We’re Looking For:

• There is an option for this role to either be full-time, or 20 hour part-time project based capacity for 4-6 months
• 5+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, or a related field.
• A portfolio showcasing strong UX and UI design skills, with an emphasis on solving real user problems.
• Experience conducting user research and translating insights into functional designs.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills—able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A self-starter with an eye for detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.

Bonus Points:

• Experience in B2B, SaaS, or marketplace environments.
• Familiarity with AI-powered solutions or logistics/supply chain industries.
