Ripple Effect is looking for an experienced project manager with 6 years of related experience to work with our program management and policy division to manage projects and teams fulfilling the project objectives through project plans, schedules, budgets, deliverables, and risk management.

General Information

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates internal and external resources for the execution of projects that meet or exceed stakeholder expectations.
  • Ensures projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Manages multi-disciplinary project teams providing mentoring, oversight, and managing performance.
  • Provides advice on technical approaches to accomplish project objectives including meeting cadence, research approaches, resource needs, communication strategies, and data management.
  • Oversees the development of deliverables to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality.
  • Develops a detailed project plan to track progress and manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with external consultants, vendors, and partners.
  • Manages the relationship with clients and all stakeholders.
  • Contributes to proposal writing and technical solutioning for relevant projects and may lead technical or management sections.
  • Develops and implements processes and procedures to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of team's operations.

Requirements

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree, business degree, or relevant degree preferred
  • 6 years' experience
  • 3 years project management experience

Basic Requirements

  • Advanced ability to navigate a program’s web-based system, such as SharePoint, Teams and other electronic business systems and train others on its use.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Project and people management skills in budgeting, resourcing, planning, tasking and risk management.
  • Ability to communicate results simply and effectively.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and external vendors.

Skills That Set You Apart

  • Project management certification (PMP) and experience with project management software.
  • Experience in strategic planning, science policy, or healthcare regulations.
  • Expertise in working with government clients or healthcare nonprofits, including NIH, CMS and AHRQ.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and/or work related to health equity.
