Fintech Product Manager (International) at Credit Mountain

Job Description

BACKGROUND
Credit Mountain is looking for a Product Manager who has direct experience developing fintech products. We are building a team of people who put out their best day in, day out to solve stressful financial challenges for our clients and customers. We are building fintech products that provide the “way-power” to match our customers’ “will power”, with empathy and user-centered innovations.

The Product Manager will be collaborate with the Chief Product Officer and product team to define the product roadmap and prioritize the product backlog, informed by understanding user needs, business priorities, market opportunities, and our overall company strategy. This includes research, planning and executing consistently on new features, enhancements, problem management, and collaboration/integration with cross-platform initiatives. The Product Manager will collaborate closely with the Engineering and Operations teams to drive development execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you can expect to:
lead the ideation, design, technical development, and launch of an innovative suite of products
Partner closely with cross functional stakeholders, including but not limited to Design, Research, Engineering, and Analytics leaders to build and deliver world-class products
Establish shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to impactful outcomes
Be data-informed and also member-centric in your approach
Work closely with the Customer Success team to troubleshoot user-reported issues
Assist in gathering and synthesizing user feedback to translate into improvements, features and opportunities
Perform data analysis on key product metrics

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent work experience)
3+ years translating business strategy or analysis into consumer-facing digital products
3+ years working with cross-functional teams as a product owner in an agile development process
Well-organized with high attention to detail
Exceptional proactive communications skills, including written and group facilitation skills
Strong empathy for customers
Demonstrated ability and desire to work and excel in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and “failing” forward
Willingness to travel as needed
Available during international work hours to interface with off-shore team (currently India ST)
