About Peek
1.1 billion people live with avoidable or preventable vision loss. This number is set to grow to 1.8 billion by 2050. The vast majority (90%) need just a simple pair of glasses or cataract surgery. So why do so many not have access to these simple, life-changing solutions?

Peek Vision is a social enterprise that works with NGOs and governments to bring vision and eye health to everyone. Our software and data intelligence platform strengthens health systems and optimises school, community and workplace eye health services. With Peek, eye health providers can identify gaps and inequalities in their services. People who would have been invisible to health workers or hard to reach are made visible, so that nobody is left behind.
By 2050, we aim to prevent 1.25 billion people from needlessly losing their eyesight.
We are dynamic, impact-driven and award-winning. Our products have been developed in collaboration with eye health providers, professional bodies and researchers. They reflect global best practices in health systems decision-making. We currently offer eye health providers:
Rapid assessments: Software and tools to help programme planners understand their populations’ eye health needs.
Peek-powered programmes: Software to implement, optimise and evaluate eye health services in schools and communities.

Lead UX Designer
United States
F/T, Remote
Constructive, a leading social impact strategy and design firm, is seeking a Lead UX Designer with deep expertise in UX design for content-rich websites and strong people management skills.
Constructive is a close-knit, committed team of experts who partner with visionary organizations to create greater understanding about the world and help make it a more fair, equitable, and sustainable place. Our culture is built on values that are essential to who we are and how we show up—deeply held beliefs about the importance of empathy, accountability, teamwork, and respect that we look for in everyone who joins our team. If the above sounds a lot like you and you’re passionate about producing great work for purpose-led brands, then please read on.
About the Role
Please note, this is not a product or app design role. It is solely focused on User Experience Design and the role will not include any visual or UI design. Our work is overwhelmingly branding and website design, with storytelling and engagement at its core. Constructive’s Lead UX Designer will lead our UX design team and report to the Director of Strategy & User Experience to ensure that the work we co-create with clients is strategically sound, creatively inspired, and highly effective. We are looking for a skilled UX designer on a trajectory toward a director-level role with a vision that will ultimately guide and shape the company’s UX practice as it continues to evolve to meet clients’ needs.
You’ll manage and mentor our UX designers to help them continuously create stand-out work. You’ll listen to, learn from, and lead clients—facilitating UX research and assessments, leading exploratory workshops, developing data models and information architecture, creating sitemaps and wireframes, conducting usability studies, presenting work, and providing consultative guidance. You’ll collaborate with Constructive’s strategy, content, design, and engineering teams, too, ensuring that what we produce delivers results.
Your Core Responsibilities
Below are the primary activities and outcomes that Constructive’s Lead UX Designer is accountable for and by which your success and contributions will be measured.
- Produce exceptional UX work. You and your team consistently create UX designs that meet our standards, are aligned with strategy, and continuously set the bar higher.
- Shape our UX design practices. You ensure that the sitemaps, wireframes, and prototypes you and your team produce embody best practices and “next practices” in human-centered design, bringing new perspectives and practices to the team.
- Lead our UX design team. You manage, mentor, and elevate our UX designers—inspiring them, strengthening their skills, and coaching them to seek greatness in their work.
- Lead UX design workshops. You translate brand and digital strategies into collaborative client workshops that produce the foundation for mission-aligned brand experiences.
- Lead client presentations. You present UX work persuasively, articulate how design solutions deliver on strategy while solving critical challenges, and steer conversations to balance the need to integrate client feedback with the need to advocate for effective design.
- Collaborate across teams. You work closely with our strategy, content, design, and engineering teams to ensure the work is faithfully translated into final deliverables and wonderful, designed experiences.
- Contribute thought leadership. You help our Marketing Lead produce thought leadership on UX design practices by sharing your ideas so that they can be turned into articles, webinars, and other content marketing.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong alignment with our core values.
- At least 5 years of UX design experience, primarily in an agency setting, creating large-scale, content-rich, brand presence websites.
- At least 2 years of experience managing and overseeing the work of other UX designers.
- Exceptional UX design and human-centered design skills—particularly in designing high-polish wireframes and prototypes.
- Collaborative leadership capabilities with the ability to manage designers and manage up to the Director of Strategy & User Experience for feedback and support.
- Exceptional presentation and speaking skills—the ability to build confidence in clients, persuasively articulate our ideas without being pushy, and facilitate strategic feedback conversations.
- An allergic reaction to mediocre work, an unrelenting eye for detail, and an insistence that any work we produce meets our highest standards and honors our clients’ trust in us.
- Fluency with Figma and strong Adobe Creative Suite skills.
- Proficiency in UX research, interviewing, usability testing, as well as the tools and software used to conduct and organize research.
- Proficiency in content strategy and content design a plus.

About Starlight Charging
Starlight Charging installs complex EV charging systems in commercial and multifamily buildings -- think airports, condos, and apartments. Having lived in apartment buildings without charging, we struggled to find reliable and convenient places to charge our electric cars. Starlight is designing a completely turnkey solution for multifamily building owners to add charging to their buildings for little to no upfront cost.
While right now, only 6% of the US population drives electric cars, we think it's inevitable that most people will make the switch within the next 10 years. We are building out a charging network to support this influx of drivers. Rather than focus on the crowded Level III public charging space, we are focused exclusively on slower charging in peoples homes, where 90%+ of charging happens. If you're interested in the intersection of energy, technology, and operations, we would love for you to join us as we build out the technology behind the world's most powerful charging network.

We’re looking for a product designer to help us shape the future of science. We are not just looking for someone to churn out Figma screens. We’re looking for someone who we can lean on for all things visuals -- from the design of a sticker to the feeling of an animation in the product.
As a founding member of the team, you'll make a significant impact as we rapidly scale revenue from $1M to $10M and then $10M to $100M+.
In this role, you’ll:
- Lead end-to-end product design projects and work closely with engineers to ensure high-quality implementation.
- Work directly with users and translate their needs into tangible user flows and actionable product decisions, directly impacting product direction.
- Create flows, prototypes and high-fidelity visuals for your features and improvements.
- Help evolve our brand and visuals and implement in Framer for marketing, company information, new launches and fun experiments.
You’re likely a good fit if you:
- You move fast, have a strong bias for action and don’t shy away from stepping on toes.
- Live and breath pixels with excellent taste for well-crafted interaction design and UI details.
- Have worked in a high-growth, fast-paced environment (ideally another startup) and can drive things forward with relatively little oversight.
We’re based in San Francisco but have members of the team in Europe too. We offer premium healthcare (medical, dental, etc.), flexible working hours and office space with a beautiful view of the SF marina and Golden Gate bridge.
If interested, reach out with a couple of sentences about you, links to your previous work/portfolio (live products are best!) and what you want to do for us starting next week. This is super important - any application without this will be ignored.
About the interview
First, we'll have an introductory call to learn more about what you're looking for, the role and whether it's a good fit.
Next, we usually do a follow-up call with someone else on the team or a quick take-home exercise.
Finally, we'll ask you to join us for a one week paid work trial. This helps us get to know more about you and closely reflects what you’d be doing day-to-day at Unriddle.
If the work trial goes well, we'll make you an offer! We don't always stick to this process, but it should give you a good idea of what to expect.
About Unriddle
Unriddle helps researchers make breakthrough discoveries faster. We are a single platform to find, understand and produce research papers.
In just one year, we’ve grown to $1M ARR and 1.5M users. We’re growing 20% month-over-month and our users include teams at Stanford, GSK and Johns Hopkins.
We use language models to surface and breakdown relevant information, suggest novel connections between papers and automate rote research tasks. This free’s up headspace for higher reasoning and insight - essentially expanding the researcher’s mental RAM and letting them load larger problems into memory.
We’re starting with software to read, write and find papers, but our ultimate goal is to build the researcher of the future: a human-AI hybrid that’s an order of magnitude more effective than any single researcher.
And we just raised $2.4M including checks from Y Combinator, Pioneer Fund, Tom Preston-Werner (co-founder of Github) and Steve Huffman (co-founder and CEO of Reddit).

Job Description
Company Description
We're a stealth startup headquartered in San Francisco focused on transforming how businesses handle their core operations. While we work in a space that many consider traditional, we're revolutionizing critical business processes that impact thousands of companies and millions of end-users daily. We're not building the next social media platform – we're solving real, complex business challenges that directly affect companies' bottom lines.
Position Overview
We're seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer who finds satisfaction in solving complex business problems and creating lasting impact, even when the challenges aren't inherently flashy. The ideal candidate appreciates that true innovation often happens in the foundational layers of business operations, where small improvements can create massive real-world value. You'll shape our product's design vision while tackling intricate workflows that require deep thinking and systematic approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design of complex operational workflows that prioritize efficiency and clarity
* Create intuitive interfaces for data-heavy, business-critical processes
* Establish and maintain a design system that emphasizes functionality and usability
* Transform complicated business logic into straightforward user experiences
* Balance competing priorities while maintaining focus on core business value
* Conduct user research with business stakeholders and operational users
* Create sophisticated user flows that optimize for efficiency and reduced error rates
* Lead design reviews focused on practical business outcomes
Required Qualifications:
* 5+ years of product design experience, with at least 3 years in senior roles
* Strong portfolio demonstrating ability to simplify complex business workflows
* Proven experience with enterprise or B2B software design
* Track record of improving operational efficiency through design
* Expert proficiency in Figma and modern design tools
* Deep understanding of business process design
* Experience working with detailed data entry and management interfaces
* Ability to find creative solutions within practical business constraints
What Sets You Apart:
* Genuine interest in business operations and process optimization
* Satisfaction from solving complex problems, even when they're not glamorous
* Ability to see the bigger picture of business impact beyond surface-level design
* Experience with enterprise software or operational tools
* Track record of successful B2B product launches
* Appreciation for the complexity of business workflows
* Ability to find joy in creating order from chaos
Our Impact:
While we may not be building the next trending consumer app, we're:
* Transforming how businesses operate at their core
* Creating measurable efficiency gains for large organizations
* Solving complex problems that directly impact business success
* Building tools that people rely on daily to get their work done
* Making a real difference in how businesses function
Our Environment:
We're a focused team that values depth over flash. You'll be working on challenging problems that require deep thinking and systematic approaches. We celebrate the small wins of making complex processes simple and find satisfaction in building tools that become indispensable to businesses. This is an environment for those who appreciate the impact of enterprise software, even when it's not the most exciting topic at dinner parties.
Why You Might Love This Role:
* You enjoy solving complex puzzles and creating order from chaos
* You find satisfaction in optimizing processes and workflows
* You appreciate seeing your work directly impact business operations
* You enjoy diving deep into complex problems
* You value impact over trendiness
* You get excited about making complicated things simple
Why This Role Might Not Be For You:
* You're primarily interested in working on consumer-facing products
* You prefer fast-changing, trendy design challenges
* You're looking to work on visually elaborate interfaces
* You get bored working on business process optimization
* You're not excited about enterprise software
