Job Description

We are looking to bring on a Project Manager Intern to gain valuable experience researching and helping to implement project management systems, processes, and tools within the organization. This position will help research and implement project management best practices for a company making the transition into a growth phase. They will have the opportunity to partner with key stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities to improve the planning process and the overall project management framework.
The intern will help to coordinate people and processes to ensure that our projects are prioritized and delivered on time and produce the desired results for successful outcomes. They will coordinate internal resources and vendors for the successful execution and delivery of projects. They will help us implement and adopt Monday.com as a new project management platform. This person will get the opportunity to learn day to day operations and projects of CBD-infused skincare and wellness products, while in direct contact with executive leadership.

Ideally 10 hours per week but can be flexible for 5-10 hours a week.

Team: Project Management Office (PMO)
Experience: Project Management 1-2 years (preferred)
License/Certification: Project Management or Agile certification (preferred)
Supervisor: Chief Administrative Officer, Charlene Estrada

Qualifications
BA/BS or MS degree student or graduate with 1-2 years relevant experience in project management and/or project coordination.
Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
Experience with project management software (e.g., Monday.com, Slack, and Google Drive) and the willingness to learn new applications needed to complete assignments or support the execution and delivery of business objectives.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing and handling multiple projects and priorities concurrently.
Excellent follow-through and follow-up with the ability to manage across various levels of the organization.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation.
Works well in a team environment and autonomously with an understanding of project management lifecycles, concepts, and processes.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
Excellent interpersonal skills for stakeholder interactions.
Motivated and resourceful self-starter with strong organizational skills.
A creative problem solver with flexibility and a desire for endless learning opportunities and mentorship.
~5-10 hours per week but can be flexible depending on interns' schedule.

Responsibilities
Will focus on project management, process development and automation of current business processes.
Plan and implement projects: plan, monitor, execute, and issue & risk management.
Help ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
Engage stakeholders to define project scope, goals,and deliverables.
Define tasks and required resources.
Create and maintain project documentation.
Develop a project schedule and timeline
Track and report project status, progress and deliverables.
Manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
Present progress and updates to stakeholders and escalate issues/risks as needed.
Implement and manage change when necessary.
Evaluate and assess the result of the project.
Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
Performing additional duties as required.
Professional development workshops (optional).
