Job Description
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing WordPress client projects from initial concept to completion
- Managing product development from initial concept to completion
- Collaborate with the team to keep projects on scope, on time, and within budget
- Managing budget, quality, and all project deliverables, in correlation with the project timeline, budget hours, and scope.
- Monitor, track, and report on the overall schedule of projects
- Provide regular reports to all internal and client stakeholders on project status
- Administer quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle, including the planning of review activities and scheduling of formal test execution via our QA team
- Coordinate user acceptance testing with the client
- Delegate work to the development team and provide guidance as needed
- Communicate, problem-solve and collaborate with the team about risks, issues, and opportunities
- Perform regular risk assessments on projects and proactively plan strategies to minimize and mitigate risk
- Provide suggestions on methodology, processes, and tools to increase team effectiveness
- Keep team highly motivated and help us build high levels of client satisfaction
- Perform accurate initial project set-up and tracking through our project management tool (Trello) and our time tracking system (Harvest)
- Prepare final updates for each phase, with supporting screenshots and video demos, for the client and/or project owner

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Marketing, Business, or Web Technologies or equivalent

Job Description
T-Rex is seeking a Project Manager to support the Federal Electronic Health Records Modernization Office with the eHealth Exchange.
The PEO Defense Healthcare Management System (DHMS) is transforming the delivery of health care and advance data sharing through a modernized electronic health record for service members, veterans and their families. The Workforce 3.0 program within DHMS is a managed solution that leverages innovative new processes, methods, and best-in-class methodologies from the private sector to enable the entire PEO DHMS workforce to deliver world-class technology. The DHMS systems provide important health IT capabilities to 9.6 million active-duty military, their families, and their beneficiaries. This program supports management of technical deployments, field deployments, and technology training/adoption. Lets talk about how you can help make a difference!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare for and facilitate key weekly touch points to inform stakeholders, including senior leadership, on key updates, successes, and blockers
- Track and report on progress, activities, risks and blockers, etc., providing input to reports and meetings with senior stakeholders
- Create and maintain project management plans
- Create and present project status, issues, or decision briefs to senior program leadership, either through ad-hoc or existing meetings
- Identify potential performance risks or issues, and creation/management of mitigation plans on a bi-weekly basis
- Document weekly project meeting agendas, minutes, and action items
- Support Special and Strategic Assignments
- Develop and maintain communications processes
- Support the RIO process, running the Risk Board, and coordinates the collection and sharing of Lessons Learned;
- Support risk-focused meetings at the program or functional team level as required
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Project Manager
- Experience developing detailed schedules and tracking and reporting status
- Experience developing, managing, and executing deployment plans for technology in concert with complex set of stakeholders.
- Experience identifying and addressing non-conformance issues
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a larger team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or another similar discipline
- Experience with Risk Management
- Experience in the health IT industry and with medical devices
- Experience at the Defense Health Agency
