What We're Looking For:
To help us continue to scale and grow our offerings, we’re in search of an experienced Product/Project Manager to lead collaboration within our multidisciplinary operational and development teams. As an ideal candidate, you will need to have experience in managing people, processes and deliverables with tight deadlines. You’re highly skilled, with a proven ability to manage and optimize operational processes, build software products and strategize the full lifecycle of product production — from conception through release. You may already be a confident leader who has experience guiding cross-functional teams in the successful creation of products that improve consumer experience and grow market share.

Objectives of this Role

  • Guide healthy projects and processes that positively impact the financial health of the organization.
  • Drive the product development, operations and business-planning processes across cross-functional teams of the company working in an asynchronous remote setting.
  • Analyze consumer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build vs. buy perspective. Shape and align the bigger picture of the org to get it ready for consistent scaling.
  • Analyze product requirements and develop appropriate programs to ensure they’re successfully achieved.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments with the scale in mind.
  • Be a touchpoint between people, processes, projects and future plans to ensure the goals are clear of what and why we are building and that we achieve it collaboratively in the most efficient way.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Investigate collaboratively and drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch.
  • Maintain timelines, expectations, access risks, success metrics and ensure we move through the project’s life cycle smoothly.
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by the engineering team.
  • Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI.
  • Align and collaborate between operations, engineering, fulfillment, sales teams and vendors on the development, QA, and release of products.
  • Balance cost, timeline and team resources to ensure success for the entire organization. Support transition off of no-code and low code tools to internal software solutions.

Qualifications: The Ideal Candidate

  • 2-5 years of strong experience in dynamic, fast paced, cross-functional, multicultural remote product or project management role with a 5-100 member team
  • Proven experience overseeing all elements of the product development and project management lifecycle
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Strong presentation, collaboration and communication skills
  • Experience setting up and managing complex operational processes
  • Preferred: experience working in collaboration with engineering team in a tech startup
  • Preferred: experience transitioning from MVP model to scalable software solution
