We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Enterprise PMO team with solid experience in leading technical and non-technical projects in the Government, Regulatory, and Compliance space. You will be tasked with leading initiatives within this area and coordinating work across teams and the broader Cisco.

You are a highly organized resource with solid experience in managing a variety of projects using standard waterfall and agile project management methodologies and best practices. The ideal candidate will be able to quickly develop trusted relationships and dive into delivering existing projects as well as planning future ones. As part of our team, you will work closely with other teams throughout Meraki and Cisco to deliver work which enables productivity throughout our organization.

What you will do:

  • Lead multiple projects of varying size and complexity to complete deliverables aligned to our government, security, and compliance requirements
  • Provide oversight and mentorship to junior team members or other project team members
  • Responsible for initial discovery, analysis, and scoping during project intake with business systems analyst / architecture support
  • Work closely with the enterprise security team to understand requirements and coordinate delivery of projects requiring support such as audit remediation for SOC 2, PCI, and FedRAMP
  • Facilitate conversations between IT / technical leads to define technical solutions, systems integrations, or process/systems implementation projects
  • Determine level of resources (people, tools, funding) vital to successfully meet project goals
  • Define governance structure, objectives, scope, roles and responsibilities, and framework to deliver each project
  • Create project schedule / plan to schedule key milestones and activities to manage to a timeline ensuring dependencies and impacts are communicated throughout the project
  • Proactively raise risks, issues, blockers and work with stakeholders to mitigate and resolve them

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years of experience working in a project management and delivery environment
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Internal Controls required for PCI Audits, SOC 2 Compliance, and FedRAMP ATO
  • Experience with Information systems auditing, monitoring, controlling, and assessment process projects
  • Outstandingly clear. You distill complicated ideas into just the right number of words, are a deep listener, and can pinpoint what compels and brings an audience along.
  • Collaborative. You take an organization-level view and are equally invested in the success of other groups. You invite and act on different points of view
  • Inspire Change. You build strong, positive relationships and can lead others to do what is vital. You can articulate a clear direction and design paths to deliver on outcomes
  • CISA, CISSP, CISM or other relevant certifications preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Motivated self-starter that thrives in a dynamic environment and easily adapts to change
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Maintain a positive attitude and respectful behavior even under pressure
