Summary:

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of projects within the Product Engineering team. This highly collaborative role will work cross-functionally across internal divisions and clients, product and business leadership and key stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of Product Engineering related initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Create project timelines and manage development milestones and deliverables
  • Foster an environment that adapts quickly to creative change and focuses on Agile development principles
  • Manage overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverable dates can be clearly communicated to immediate team members (Product/Engineering/QA) as well as business stakeholders
  • Capture and record meeting minutes. Ensure action items are completed promptly
  • Partner with development team members (internal and SI vendor) to understand opportunities and limitations of solutions being implemented
  • Lead off-shore Scrum team daily standups and ceremonies
  • Develop and maintain project 4-blocks, gantts and health reports to provide to leadership
  • Advise team on project priorities, alternate options, risks, dependencies and impact while ensuring project milestones are aligned with strategic objectives
  • Work with Project leadership to ensure visibility of all projects and KPIs across stakeholder teams and leadership and escalate critical risks and issues
  • Attend and communicate milestone reviews for projects with stakeholders and leadership
  • Manage resource management and capacity planning sessions for development teams
  • Ability to easily onboard resources quickly
  • Planning and forecasting project state

Requirements:

  • 2 to 5 years of experience leading software projects
  • Comfortable working with a cross functional and globally distributed team including offshore teams with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Demonstrated history of successful project completion with a cross functional team from concept to delivery
  • Strong understanding of the SDLC
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Confluence, JIRA and similar management tools

Nice-to-haves:

  • Scrum Master Certification
  • PMP Certification
  • Agile Certification
  • Familiarity with cloud based solutions (AWS or Google Cloud Platform)
  • Familiarity with the advertising and marketing landscape
  • Familiarity with data science and machine learning methodologies and use cases
