The mission of the Senior Smart Contract and API Engineer at Satori is to build, test and deploy our core back-end infrastructure (Smart contracts, APIs, login systems, security processes) and ensure they are easily integrated by the front-end apps and widgets that use them.

Since Satori is a startup, you will need to wear a lot of hats and cover new ground. You will certainly touch smart contracts and our core API architecture but may also need to help lay the groundwork for new services like login SDKs or SSO widgets. The team is rapidly building new apps and releasing new features so you’ll need to be comfortable with balancing fast-paced shipping against good architecture, testing and security.

This is a role for a senior engineer who already has deep experience with and understanding of building smart contracts and APIs. You don’t need experience with NEAR but you should have built production-grade smart contracts before and have the necessary exposure to Rust or Rust-like languages. We’re looking for an opinionated and informed web3 engineer who will come to the team with fresh architectural ideas and approaches.

We’re looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to help build the platform and deliver product experiences that delight students, teachers, and families. All of our product teams are truly responsible for end-to-end feature development which means depending on the product team you work on and your background you may work on everything from data modeling, architecting a new system or API, or working on user facing product UI.

Your Classmates (The Team):
You’ll primarily be working with teammates on one of our product teams, each of which owns a portion of the Seesaw product and audience. Currently, we have teams organized around (1) our core "learning loop" used by teachers, families, and students, (2) our paid product for schools, (3) our messaging service, and (4) our platform team that builds the systems and patterns that support our other teams. But, we're a small team and you'll work closely with all other engineers, PMs, and Designers on our broader product and engineering team.

Subject Matter (Your Responsibilities):

• Close collaboration with product managers, and other engineering teams to deliver cost-effective solutions at scale.
• Lead an iterative development process to deliver new features to internal business partners, as well as, external customers like students, teachers, families, and school administrators.
• Backend-focused software development for our web applications, and other interdependent software solutions, driven primarily by AWS cloud technologies.
• Help drive a technical roadmap, and efficient engineering culture with design proposals, industry engagement, and continually improving our services for reliability, availability, and performance.

Prerequisites (The Requirements):

• Will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
• Experience with building, running, and maintaining large-scale cloud services.
• Experience working with and building platform services layer, and understands the impact of making sustainable (dollar cost and operational cost) decisions at the platform level.
• Familiarity with cloud-native technologies like AWS DynamoDB, ElasticSearch, Blob storage, and lambda functions.
• Customer-focused on the approach to problem-solving and a track record of optimizing solutions for user experience over the correctness of engineering systems.
• Experience leading a project end-to-end, and the ability to discuss and explain the architectural tradeoffs and decisions that were made.
• Proven track record of being a key contributor to backend and platform-focused engineering projects.

Our engineers tend to be passionate about new technology, have high attention to detail, and generally just enjoy writing code.

Compensation:
This role is a contract to hire position with an 8 month duration. The contracts base commision is $12,000, paid evenly across the span of 8 months. Developers who max out thier bonus pay can expect to earn up to $48,000 for this contract.

What you will do:

• Initiate new projects and technical integrations between DeepSource and tools in the broader ecosystem.
• Collaborate with internal teams on the product roadmap, market positioning, messaging, and developer program initiatives.
• Deliver compelling presentations, setups and demos, sample solutions, technical blogposts, and discussions to drive the adoption of DeepSource.
• Scale, extend and drive the global expansion of existing community-focused programs, for example, Hackathons, User Groups, and Meet-ups.

We’re looking for someone who has,

• At least 3 years or similar experience as a developer advocate.
• Experience writing code, contributing to and understanding the community aspects of open source projects. You don’t need a Computer Science degree, but you should be able to create sample projects and code tutorials.
• A track record of speaking at conferences and meetups.

About the Role

As a part of the Web Team within our Engineering org, the Staff Frontend Web Developer will own the management of our marketing website at Routable, routable.com. This person will partner closely with our Head of Demand Generation as well as designers and other engineers to ensure we effectively support our web strategy needs across the go-to-market team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is highly collaborative, loves to have ownership over high visibility projects, loves to build beautiful UIs, and enjoys helping a team develop a better foundation for scale

Responsibilities

• Partner with Demand Gen, Product Marketing, and Creative teams to build a world-class website and Demand Gen experiences.
• Ensure we are getting the most out of our CMS (Contentful) and the team is well enabled to make and preview updates
• Ensure our website uptime is closely monitored with clear processes and fail-safes in place
• Partner with Demand Gen to ensure we are consistently improving upon our engagement and conversion metrics across the site
• Be a mentor and train other developers on your team

Minimum Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in front-end web development
• Experience with Contentful is required
• Proficient in HTML/CSS, JavaScript/ES6, GraphQL & React.

• Understanding of UX best practices for lead generation-focused website
• Experience in developing tight collaboration with creative teams and working within existing brand guidelines

• Experience successfully owning projects & systems and monitoring system health as they scale

The Role

Wisetack is looking for a Principal Software Engineer to be an early foundational member of the technical team. You will be a leader within your team, not as management, but as a force multiplier who sets examples of good code and who helps their teammates contribute to their full potential.

Responsibilities

• Write good code. You will implement new features, troubleshoot and fix bugs, and set an example for your teammates in how you do so.
• Keep in mind a bigger picture than just your own work. Always look for ways to improve our code and our process, thinking about not just what we need now, but what we will need next month and next year.
• Take ownership. You will keep an eye out for tech debt, buggy edge cases, and other pain points; bring them to the attention of your team, and help establish and prioritize a path to reducing or eliminating them.
