Sr. Visual / Product Designer at Yat Labs
- Design
- Fulltime
- Anywhere (100% Remote) Only
Job Description
About Us
Yat Labs, a leading developer of applications and tools for NFT creators and collectors, is building the industry-defining, next-generation platform for NFT discovery and collecting. Yat Labs operates Yat, a censorship-resistant internet identity system providing users with personalized strings of emojis for use as their universal usernames.
Creators have designed over 170,000 Yats using our tools, and with over 35,000 Yat collectors (and over $20M in Yat sales), we’ve firmly established Yat Labs as one of the most critical emerging web 3 product companies in the world.
Existing NFT collection products & exchanges are modeled after eBay. The problem with this is that eBay was built for physical products rather than natively digital ones. Digital products live within our attention economy and need a new format that captures and retains attention. This is what we are building. A super interactive, highly gamified entirely new type of NFT collecting experience.
Yat Labs, part of the Tari ecosystem fostered by its sister company Tari Labs, was co-founded by Ric Spagni and Naveen Jain (who also founded Sparkart) and is backed by Blockchain Capital, Pantera Capital, Multicoin Capital, Trinity Ventures, Redpoint Ventures, Canaan Partners, Slow Ventures, and many more of the best investors in the world.
Now is a magical time to join, we're still small, and everyone makes a foundational difference. Interested in learning more? Apply Below!
This role is 100% remote!
The role
Yat Labs is looking for an experienced Sr. Visual/Product Designer to lead the design of our web applications, with a focus on creating intuitive and engaging user experiences that enable our users to buy, sell, and trade NFTs easily and efficiently. The main objective of this job is to help us design the industry-defining, next-generation NFT social marketplace.
About you
Intrigued by the prospect of working at a consumer startup that’s at the intersection of digital identity, emojis, privacy, the creator economy, and NFTs, and is led by a founding team with significant prior success and deep industry credibility.
You care deeply about communication, teamwork, and craftsmanship.
You proactively bring people together to solve problems.
You’re an excellent product storyteller.
