Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team in handling defense sector contracting initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of defense acquisition processes, and a proven track record in managing complex projects.


  1. Lead and manage projects within the defense vertical, ensuring alignment with Lazarus AI's vision and objectives.
  2. Develop, execute, and monitor project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
  3. Manage project risks, issues, and changes, and recommend appropriate courses of action.
  4. Foster collaboration and communication among project stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, and government agencies.
  5. Ensure compliance with defense acquisition regulations, policies, and procedures.
  6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners in the defense sector.
  7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Lazarus AI's project management methodologies and best practices.


  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline). A Master's degree or relevant certifications (PMP, Scrum Master, etc.) is a plus.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years of experience in the defense sector.
  3. Strong understanding of defense acquisition processes, including Software Acquisition Pathway (SWP) and other acquisition pathways.
  4. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Proven ability to manage complex projects, including risk management, issue resolution, and change management.
  6. Familiarity with defense acquisition regulations, policies, and procedures.
  7. Experience working with government agencies, military branches, and/or defense contractors.
  8. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and in a team environment.
  9. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  10. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
