Product Designer - Dashboard at Stripe
- Design
- Fulltime
- Anywhere (100% Remote) Only
Job Description
Who we are
About Stripe
Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.
About the team
The Product Design team is composed of several teams that work together to help define, create, and deliver all user-facing aspects of the Stripe brand and product. Product Designers are strategic partners to Engineering and Product Management within a dedicated product area. In partnership with the product team, they help define the user-facing experiences our users encounter on Stripe products, then translate that thinking into a complete experience that can be tested, shipped, and refined. They are responsible for creating well-functioning and beautiful products and experiences that users love and are eager to recommend to others.
The Dashboard team ensures Stripe works well for every merchant. It doesn’t matter how they model their business, how many products they use, or how they use those products, this team makes Stripe feel like it was built specifically for each merchant’s business. The team does this by setting the standard across horizontal experiences, creating frameworks that codify that standard, and building tools / systems that empower any team to meet that standard.
What you’ll do
In this role you will help build and enhance the Stripe Dashboard by designing, concepting, and prototyping high-quality core dashboard and product experiences.
Responsibilities
Develop a deep understanding of the Stripe ecosystem, UI, and users to help influence product direction
Design industry-leading software experiences and evolve / innovate on existing UI surfaces
Work closely with peer designers, product managers, and engineers to define both the long-term strategy and the short-term tactics for our upcoming and existing initiatives
Design high-quality UIs that set the standard for what good design looks like at Stripe
Work with engineering and partner teams to launch high-quality, user-facing product experiences
Participate in design reviews and share your work regularly with the design and team leadership
Partner closely with our user research team to drive and support UX research projects; Partner closely with content design
Who you are
We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
Minimum requirements
Has at least 7+ years relevant design experience
A portfolio showcasing strong design skills with high-quality, well-crafted UI experiences
Experience partnering closely with product, engineering and other cross-functional teams to drive product direction
Preferred qualifications
Experience designing for a B2B and/or fintech product
Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous, complex problem spaces
Demonstrated ability to work horizontally across product verticals & collaborating upwards with team & company leadership
Demonstrated ability to wrangle lots of competing priorities, points of views, as well as user and business needs to come up with solution
Skilled in explaining your work, process, and decisions to cross-functional partners and stakeholders
Hybrid work at Stripe
This role is available either in an office or a remote location (typically, 35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office).
Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.
A remote location, in most cases, is defined as being 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from one of our offices. While you would be welcome to come into the office for team/business meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events, our expectation is you would regularly work from home rather than a Stripe office. Stripe does not cover the cost of relocating to a remote location. We encourage you to apply for roles that match the location where you currently or plan to live.
Pay and benefits
The annual US base salary range for this role is $152,700 - $229,100. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends.

Job Description
About Us:
Clipp is on a mission to digitize the $325bn+ food supply chain network with AI-powered order management solutions. We’re an early-stage startup (7 employees) with big ambitions, solving complex problems for restaurants and suppliers. We are looking for a Product Designer to take the lead on creating user-centered designs that are functional, innovative, and intuitive.
Clipp has raised $600K to-date with angel investors from Doordash, Palantir, and several restaurant groups. Our founding team consists of ex-founders with deep experience in food supply chain, restaurants, and digital marketplaces. This is a unique opportunity to disrupt a legacy industry where there is still ample whitespace, and work with a unique type of customer who has historically been resistant to change but is starting to adapt to newer technologies.
The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer who can take full ownership of the design process. You’ll be responsible for understanding our customers’ needs and translating them into seamless, functional, and visually appealing user experiences. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and sales, to ensure that our designs are user-centered and support business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the entire design process, from research and ideation to wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand user needs, personas, and product requirements.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterative design improvements based on feedback.
- Create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that align with our brand and product goals.
- Balance both UX and UI to ensure designs are not only visually appealing but also functional and accessible.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, helping elevate the overall design quality at Clipp.
What We’re Looking For:
- There is an option for this role to either be full-time, or 20 hour part-time project based capacity for 4-6 months
- 5+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, or a related field.
- A portfolio showcasing strong UX and UI design skills, with an emphasis on solving real user problems.
- Experience conducting user research and translating insights into functional designs.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills—able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A self-starter with an eye for detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
Bonus Points:
- Experience in B2B, SaaS, or marketplace environments.
- Familiarity with AI-powered solutions or logistics/supply chain industries.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary and equity in a fast-growing startup.
- A collaborative and open environment where your contributions will have a direct impact.
- Flexible working conditions and a chance to shape the future of our design team.
