Rate offer: US$2,000-3,500 per month after interview if candidate is successful with the hiring process Role overview:

  • This role is all about keeping the client happy and retaining the client. This role will lead the account strategy and client communication, while facilitating execution to internal operation team members. The SEO Account Manager will be responsible for reviewing and optimizing account performance, as they will have autonomy over account strategy. Experience in paid media, email marketing, and a comprehensive understanding of the full-funnel marketing approach is ideal.KPIs:
  • High client satisfaction and retention within their portfolio
  • Clear demonstration of growth in top-of-funnel SEO metrics (e.g. clicks, relevant keyword rankings, time-on-site)
  • Clear demonstration of growth in mid-funnel and bottom-of-funnel client goals, attributed to organic searchResponsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive SEO strategies for clients.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with clients to understand their business goals and align strategies accordingly.
  • Demonstrate exceptional client management skills, ensuring a positive experience and acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Proactively handle issue resolutions, providing timely and effective solutions to maintain client satisfaction.
  • Review and optimize account performance, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
  • Take ownership of account strategy, ensuring it aligns with industry best practices and client objectives.
  • Communicate performance effectively to clients, relating it directly to their business goals and providing actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with internal teams in paid media, web development, email marketing, conversion optimization and related industries to facilitate the seamless execution of strategies and deliver exceptional results.
  • Keep on top of the latest SEO and digital marketing trends and best practices


  • Required: Strong English written and verbal communication is required. No exceptions.
  • Required: excellent client communication and satisfaction skills. Must be comfortable spending a majority of the job liaising with clients (on phone and in writing) to answer their questions and solve their needs.
  • Required: 3+ years of experience as a SEO Manager or similar role
  • Required: 1+ year of experience in a client-facing, strategic role
  • Required: Knowledge of standard and current SEO best practices for both onsite and offsite factors
  • Required: Working hours must overlap with EST business hours (9am - 5pm EST) for at least five hours each day. We expect team members, especially client-facing roles, to be available by 9am - 5pm EST (New York Time).
  • Required: Experience with SEO reporting — reviewing performance and identifying next steps / strategies, drafting reports, etc.
  • Required: Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Data Studio, etc.
  • Preferred: Experience with tools such as Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, MOZ, etc.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Google Workspace products such as Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc.
  • Nice to have: Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a deadline-driven atmosphere.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively articulate insights and recommended actions.
  • Strong levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
