Change.org is searching for a Senior Product Specialist SEO & Landing Pages to be the driving force behind Change.org’s global strategy.

We’re a social impact business (a public benefit company), and the world's largest social change platform with 100m monthly users, 50,000+ campaigns launched on the site every month, and a 100% user-generated revenue model. Our users win campaigns for change once every hour.

From mobilizing over 5 million people to investigate the fires in the Amazon, to mobilizing nearly 3 million against war and famine in Yemen, to large-scale mobilizations for the people of Iran and against the war in Ukraine, and calling for Racial Justice in the US, many movements were born on Change.org. You will report to our Director of Growth. As a key member of our Growth Marketing, you’ll be a strategic owner. As a Senior Product Specialist, you will be the driving force behind Change.org's global SEO strategy. You will work closely with a dedicated engineering team of two as well as design, collaborating to prioritize and implement impactful initiatives.

Key Outcomes:

  • Growth: Grow key SEO metrics: Petition Creation globally, Traffic to Decision Maker pages.
  • Conversion Optimization: Enhance user experience and conversions on landing pages by optimizing content, layout, and calls-to-action, leading to higher engagement and goal completions.
  • Content Strategy: Expand petition creation market share through SEO by capturing new audience segments (causes and movements) as well as petitions concerning local issues through optimizing or launching new landing pages and content.
  • Performance Management: Manage SEO operations and analytics to deeply understand the channel; provide weekly updates and inform leadership of progress, impacting business objectives and revenue.

The most important skills and capabilities for the role are:

  • Ownership and Results: A demonstrated ability to own a larger volume, scope, or complexity of work, while maintaining your ability to prioritize and drive excellent results.
  • Strategy & Planning: Experience in outlining the strategy of the SEO team, ensuring that your goals and roadmap are directly supportive of our mission, vision, and strategic priorities. You communicate strategy effectively to stakeholders to gain buy-in.
  • Analysis, Problem Solving & Critical Thinking: You come up with and execute complex analyses with limited supervision. You make data-driven decisions. You can solve problems end-to-end with limited supervision.
  • Product Management: You are an experienced Product Manager, who can create product roadmaps and collaborate with engineering to execute autonomously.

Target experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in SEO and product management, with a strong focus on landing page optimization.
  • You possess a deep understanding of the operational, technological, and strategic aspects essential for executing successful SEO and product initiatives.

Change.org is a global company, and salaries are adjusted for cost of labor in each location. For example, the annual salary of a Senior Product Specialist is $152,500 in San Francisco, CA or New York, NY, and would be $146,500 in Canada.
