Jr. SEO Specialist (Remote-Friendly)
WebstaurantStore, the largest online restaurant supply company, is looking for a full-time Junior SEO Specialist to enrich our world-class search marketing team in this dynamic, fast-growing, remote-friendly company. The Junior SEO Specialist role will be responsible for the promotion of content, assets, and features on our website to increase external backlinks, create meaningful connections, grow organic website traffic, and improve user engagement. We are looking for candidates who have experience in the following areas: Outreach, Link-Building, PR, SEO, EO, Social Media, or Ecommerce.
Our team is based in Tampa, FL, and Lititz, PA, but all team members are working remotely.

What you will be doing:
- Use your PR and outreach skills to bring visibility to our content, visual assets, and products
- Monitor our backlink profile and brand mentions for relationship-building and SEO outreach opportunities
- Learn and utilize advanced search techniques to identify potential link opportunities
- Investigate and analyze the link-building, content, and SEO strategies of our competitors
- Work closely with the SEO Outreach team on special projects
- Stay on the forefront of current off-page SEO best practices

- Performing full SEO website analysis for our clients, finding problems and implementing solutions yourself
- Conducting thorough keyword research and prioritizing keywords using our best practices
- Creating 301 redirects, HTML / XML sitemaps, title tags, meta descriptions
- Online public relations, link building, social media profile setup and improvement
- Upgrading website code, servers, and other areas to increase site speed
- Consolidating CSS files and other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
- After successfully completing the initial training period you should also be able to perform technical SEO analysis to uncover errors as well as provide and implement the appropriate solutions
We are looking for talented and diligent candidates who excel in our skills tests, and will consider these candidates even if past experience or educational background criteria aren't met.
- California, New York, Washington, and Colorado: starting base pay for this position ranges between $15 - $35 per hour.
Compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills test performance, geographic location, and seniority of the position offered. Outside of California, New York, Washington, and Colorado compensation may fall outside the above ranges.
