Editorial SEO Strategist

Aeroflow Healthcare is one of the fastest growing DME/HME companies in the nation - and we're looking for a new Editorial SEO Strategist to join our Marketing department! This is a fully remote opportunity!

This Editorial SEO Strategist will be joining a growing SEO team. You’ll be an invaluable addition to our team by taking a key role in researching, communicating, and following through on SEO strategies for pieces of content that are ideated and created across the marketing team. You’ll also be a key player in conducting content audits and driving content refreshes to meet growing and changing SEO standards and best practices.

So having experience conducting proper SEO research that feeds into user-facing copy is absolutely essential (as is being able to monitor content after it has been written to determine if it’s meeting expectations for growth).

  • Conduct appropriate topic and keyword research based on niche, attainable organic rankings
  • Effectively communicate methodology behind choices for keyword targeting within content topics
  • Provide appropriate content briefs to inform crucial SEO inclusions for editorial tasks
  • Working with individual multi-division stakeholders to create specific voice and style guidelines as required for SEO editorial tasks
  • Monitor and track SEO performance of content after it’s been published
  • Maintain status updates on assigned tasks and tickets
  • Support the entire SEO team in observing organic traffic across multiple sites (that make up the divisions within our organization) to flag any issues or opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain HIPAA confidentiality

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 2 - 3 years previous SEO experience (agency preferred)
  • 2 - 3 years admin CMS experience (wordpress is fine, but any content/page building experience on Magento would make you more prospective for the role)
  • Excellent editorial SEO writing skills
  • Comfortable using the following SEO tools for site audits, keyword targeting research, and, general SEO site health:
    • Google Search Console
    • Ahrefs (or SEMRush)
    • Screaming Frog
    • Google Analytics
    • Google Data Studio
    • Clearscope (not required but would make you more prospective for the role)
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and juggle multiple writing projects at once

SEO Test:

For candidates that apply and we feel may be a good fit for the role, we will be administering an SEO test. This test is designed to give us an idea of your basic SEO understanding as well as offer insight (for you and us) about how you’ll handle typical day-to-day tasks. So if you apply please be prepared for this test - its completion is a requirement for consideration of this role. So if you’re not comfortable enough with your SEO chops to take a test, please don’t apply.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) suited to articulating complex SEO initiatives in a way that’s appropriate for stakeholders to follow and offer insight and/or approval on.
  • Ability to manage time and work efficiently and effectively to produce content deliverables in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
  • Strategic analyzer that knows how to chase down particular SEO issues using the appropriate SEO tools while also being able to work collaboratively or solo
