Position Summary
We are looking for a seasoned and dynamic SEO Account Manager to be responsible for the full lifespan of SEO campaign setting strategic direction, executing tasks, ongoing management, optimization and monitoring, and reporting and insight analysis. The SEO Account Manager will work on a dedicated client team and continually support and lead integration efforts with other digital and media services. Expected Salary Range - $60,000 to $70,000 annually depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for determining client SEO strategy and identifying tactics across multiple search engines to ensure client goals are met and exceeded:
- Site-side technical optimizations
- Site architecture/organization
- Keyword research and mapping of categories and themes
- Developing data-driven content development recommendations
- Link acquisition strategies
- Daily monitoring and management of SEO campaigns
- SEO reporting, analysis and insights
- Content development, scope creation and collaboration with creative team for production
- SEO content calendar management
- Client communication and consulting
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert for SEO on dedicated team
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years' experience in SEO
- In-depth knowledge of site-side and off-site SEO execution
- In-depth knowledge of Excel
- Experience with Google Analytics and other analytics platforms
- Enthusiasm for the digital marketing industry
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
- Ability to work well with others while maintaining degree of autonomy

A Day in the Life of the SEO Specialist
- Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to drive organic traffic growth.
- Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and website audits to identify optimization opportunities.

- Spearhead collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between SEO efforts and other demand generation and business objectives.

You have
- 8 years SEO experience, including a minimum of 4+ years leading SEO initiatives for large brands. Practical knowledge of affiliates, marketplaces, and/or programmatic and local marketing optimization (e.g. franchise, retail, etc) at scale is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing a team of direct reports, agencies and contractors and a proven ability to mentor and develop direct reports into more senior roles.

Job Summary:
Are you passionate about publishing impactful content? Do you have an excitement for the homebuilding industry? As SEO Coordinator for M/I Homes, you’ll be part of a team dedicated to organic search performance for one of the nation’s leading homebuilders.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating the content that shapes our digital presence and helps us dominate search engine result pages. From editing and publishing to auditing and analyzing, your efforts will elevate the quality and reach of our community, home, plan, and city pages, as well as the M/I Homes blog.
As a key player in our SEO strategy, you’ll collaborate with teams across multiple cities and work with external vendors to ensure our website and local search listings consistently deliver top-notch, engaging experiences and rank prominently in organic search results.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Curate (create, edit, upload, audit, and measure) all website content for the M/I Homes website.
- Champion content quality and volume across our communities, homes, and plans.
- Collaborate with internal teams across cities to understand our markets and buyers.
- Plan and execute organic search strategies to drive results.
- Report on KPIs and present SEO updates to stakeholders.
- Compile and analyze data for ad hoc reporting.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Education Experience:
- 2-3 years of SEO or content curation experience
Skills and Abilities:
- Experience with large organic search campaigns, including strategy, execution, and measurement.
- Excellent writing and copy-editing capability.
- Experience with SEO and content creation tools, including Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMRush, Moz, Bing Copilot.
- Basic understanding of writing and editing valid HTML
- General understanding of SEM tactics like PPC, keyword research, and link building.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work cross-functionally and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in Excel to generate traffic and performance reports.
- Proficient in Google Analytics and web metrics
- Knowledge of WCM or CMS platforms
- Must be extremely organized, detailed oriented, and self-motivated
- Ability to prioritize and manage time
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn new technical applications
- Sitecore knowledge or experience a plus
Working Conditions:
Fully remote, with occasional travel to Austin, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, and Nashville markets plus our corporate office in Columbus, Ohio.

Data Querying & Integration: Utilize SQL and other tools to query and join data from multiple sources, enabling comprehensive analysis and reporting.
Who you are & what you’ll need to succeed.
4+ years of corporate experience in Marketing Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field, including the development of analytics dashboards, solutions, and strategies across digital marketing platforms and ecosystems.
Background supporting E-Commerce sites or corporations is strongly preferred.
Experience working with large and complex SQL databases.
Expertise in one or more leading web analytics and optimization tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics 360, Optimizely, etc.).
Strong experience with Microsoft Excel or similar tools (e.g., Tableau) for data manipulation and visualization is required.
Familiarity with experimental design and statistical analysis to drive business decision-making.
A deep understanding of customer behavior, sales and marketing psychology, ROI analysis, and design/testing methodologies.
Strong grasp of statistical concepts and data science methodologies.
Experience with digital marketing channel analysis (PPC, SEO, Display, Social).

About the Role
The goal of this position is to love and serve our clients and help their business’ visibility on Google search grow. This will, in turn, bring leads and new sales to their business. This position is responsible for executing the SEO Process, and performing the monthly deliverables, on-time, with quality to ensure a positive impact on the business’ visibility on Google Searches.
This is a remote role with flexible working hours. You are free to work when you choose but we ask all employees outside of the USA to be available for communication and ready for last-minute urgent requests/ meetings when necessary at anytime between 9 am - 3 pm US Eastern time.
Ideal Qualifications For this Role
- At least 4 years of experience in the field
- At least one year of experience working in an agency with a similar structure meaning that you work on multiple accounts. You were responsible for achieving a desired result for the clients , you had a team that supported you in your work, and you had some form of manager to report to.
- Experience in driving Local SEO initiatives. You understand the value of the map pack and are able to adjust your implementation to make sure that you’re work is focused on driving the needle that results in increased quality traffic.
