The value of this position

As the Partner Marketing Manager, you will develop the marketing strategy and execute initiatives that attract and grow Embrokers relationships and revenue with our expanding network of partners. This is a newly established role, necessitated by our extraordinary growth.

We’re looking for a proactive, well-rounded, and experienced B2B marketer who has negotiated and launched partnership campaigns with proven results. You’ll be empowered by the VP of Marketing and your teammates will include an incredibly smart and motivated group of proven marketing talent. We believe that the best marketing efforts are without silos and you can expect to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams representing Marketing, Product, and Sales.

What you will own in this role

Your main duties include hunting partnership opportunities that align with a strategy you develop and then designing and implementing partnership marketing programs that activate them.

  • Understand Embroker’s mission and how Partners will contribute to our overall success; develop marketing strategies, plans, and KPI’s aligned to company objectives; own these metrics and be on the lookout for opportunities to improve
  • Identify strategic co-marketing opportunities with existing partners and execute multi-touch co-marketing efforts
  • Develop relationships with thought leaders and content creators aligned with our industry verticals and find ways to create long-standing relationships and roadmaps
  • Be the point person for all aspects of partner marketing including planning, messaging, collateral, campaigns, training, and enablement
  • Develop systems and processes that allow you to keep a close eye on the full-funnel lifecycle of Partners, all the way from awareness to expansion and advocacy; proactively consider ways that marketing can be leveraged at every stage in the journey
  • Establish and consistently report out on partner marketing engagement, enablement, and performance metrics – using tools such Google Sheets, Salesforce, Looker

What experience we think is the right fit

If you’re brilliant at creating innovative ways to systematically test and improve results, we would like to meet you.

  • 5+ years of experience in developing partnerships, ideally in a B2B startup
  • Strategic big-picture thinker, that can plot a campaign from idea to execution; ownership mindset
  • Creative and enthusiastic problem solver who possesses the ability to lead with authority and influence
  • Data-driven marketer who leans heavily on KPI’s and analysis to identify their next best action
  • Ability to effectively manage internal and external stakeholders and build strong working relationships

Clear and precise communication skills, verbal and written

A hungry, infectious personality: we’re looking for someone determined and able to win

Knowledge of the Insurance industry a plus
